FXPC, of course, I know this point. But at the end of the day, they do more harm to sales and customers.

For C 9 like me, I would go to the one which have of the things and pay there. IF they allow stamping at all branches, then we will just buy what we find in the shops we are in. This will do more benefit to those small branches which have little varieties and save our trips to go from CWB to CSW to MK to TST.... ma. I think this is a silly approach to require sep stamping on branch-associated card!!!

I've been to the MK KMK and spent over $500 there with no stamp last week. Honestly I didn't aware of such promotion too. The sales said nothing about this... Just found out such thing when I was paying at the TST KMK on Monday.

What about credit card slip for the transaction? I think you can simply call MK kmk again and ask for giving you the stamp. You know, some frauds could take place... (I hope not la).

btw, are you interested in French? I will take my son to a French trial playgroup class next Tue evening. You can consider la. I am only on trial and error cha. Don't know how the quality is.

I buy the Brainy French coz I wish my son to expose to more language. Don't expect he would learn it now.

p.s. my time in the beach was great. We played sand castle, digging, seawater...etc until it turned dark and the moon came out. Only a few plp were swimming.

Yes, I am interested in French and would like to let him learn when he is at least 4+. I was struggling between Spanish & French earilier in fact. I have been looking around good french learning resources for some time. Only songs will do for now cos he is still young. I've bought some French children songs and occasionally played at home during his mealtime/playtime/ sleeptime. I wish him to get prepared for a new set of sound system for the time being. When he watched cartoon DVDs, I sometimes played in French too.
Tell me more after your trial next week la. Do you speak French? I don't ga.

Jealous your evening beach trip with family. I was stuck at home working on a 'special' project. I jump in and check replies here occasionally.

Have watched the DVD (on your request) la. Really quite good bor. It teaches a lot of basic nouns in French w/ nice pictures, then numbers 1-10, then 'how many of [the nouns taught in the early part of the DVD]?' + answer, body parts, colours, what colour is it? questioning , yes no,thank you, bye bye..I love you., action words.....French songs.... + revision at the end of words or phrases taught. ..That is the end.

The DVD also contains chapters on storytelling, activites/games and song.

Quite systematic and easy to understand for an old mom like me. I might be a brainy mom by watching more.

I know that Spanish and French should not be introduced to kids at the same time. So, though I have the Spanish DVD too, won't play it yet to my son but myself first.. ha...

You can consider. I suggest persuading Idxx to sell this series la. KMK offers 20% discount only for a purchase of over 3 DVDs la. Each marked at HK$168 (?) b4 discount.

How old is your kid?

Of course, I don't know French la.. only Chinese + English + some ptg la.

che, you can borrow the Chinese version in the library, then the conversation would be even more 'Sweet' (coz in Chinese)

Salami, mine is 26 mths old. I have bought him one cake per month since his birth. He has experienced 26th birthday celebration already. Am I a bit crazy? I think so.. I am not ONLY addicted to buying book but celebrating birth-month for my son.

Btw, I am updating the content reporting on the French DVD below whilst still watching (at this second). Like a journalist. : )

What a funny mom in celebrating birthday every month?!? Together with his dad? How does he feel/react? Just cake or with present? Have you ever tried baking him one?
BTW, are you a working mom or FT?

Have you bought this? 60-min long audio with 50 songs. I bought from Page one around $150 (not exactly). Spanish is also available too.

Just seen these, check it out.
