My son is 7 months old now and is taking Beanstalk since birth. His poo poo is very good, very soft. Even the nurse in the hospital said his poo poo is very good. Your son's poo poo becomes juicy. This is good. If it was in stick shape means he was 熱氣.
I also buy Beanstalk from Bonjour. It is original from Japan. I know how to order from Japan. I checked the price once but found that it costs $2XX (including the postage). Still Bonjour is cheaper. I bought one box (8 cans) each time. I call Bonjour to reserve the formula before going because sometimes it will be out of stock as more people know they have this product. The sales said they will continue to sell this product.
HELLO BELINDA,
THANK GOD, TODAY MY SON'S POO POO IS BACK TO NORMAL. HOWEVER, HIS FACE GOT FEW PCS RED RASH BUT ANYWAY NOT AS SERIOUS AS BEFORE. I THINK MY SON LIKES "BEANSTALK" MORE THAN A+ BECOS MOST OF THE TIME HE CAN FINISH WHOLE BOTTLE OF MILK. SO TOTALLY HE TAKES FEW OZ PER DAY MORE THAN BEFORE. FOR ME IT'S GOOD ENOUGH.
THE FIRST TIME WHEN I BOUGHT "BEANSTALK" AT BONJOUR, THE SALES TOLD ME THEY STILL HV STOCK BUT INCREASINGLY QUITE A LOT OF MUMS COME TO BUY THIS PRODUCT, SO FOR SAFETY IT'S BETTER TO BUY 2 BOTTLES EACH TIME. SO THAT WHEN ONE IS FINISHED, YOU STILL HV ONE STOCK ALL THE TIME.
I'LL KEEP LOOKING FEW MORE DAYS TO SEE IF IT IS REALLY GOOD FOR MY SON. AND WL KEEP PURCHASING IT FROM BONJOUR. TKS !
My son is having A+ before & I've also changed to use Snow Band (AUS) when he's 13 months old. But after I read the message in here, I'm now considering to change to use Beanstalk. Can you tell me how to make up the milk, for examply if my son is drinking 8 oz of milk, how many spoon of milk powder, we'll need to add in? Pls advise.
sorry i don't know how to make 8 oz milk with beanstalk, as the formula shows :
1) use 140 ml(=5oz) 50 degrees warm water (1/2 boil water and 1/2 cold water).
< but it's too hot for my baby so I use 1.5 oz boil water + 3.5oz cold water >.
2) add in milk powder 5 spoons and shake well.
< there's a plastic spoon provided in the bottle and you will find it is bigger than normal >.
3) add cold water till 200ml (=7oz) finished, shake well.
i think it's important to follow strictly to the advised formula. don't try to make it 8 oz by adding a little milk powder and water.
how is your baby's meal time ? if your baby is taking 8 oz every 4 hours, maybe you have to shorten the meal time to 3 hours or 3.5 hours. it's unknown yet, maybe 7 oz beanstalk is enough for yr baby. anyway your baby will let you know when he's hungry.
Thanks for your information. I also want to know did I have to follow your 3 steps. Because after I read it, that means use 7oz of water, you've to add in 5 spoon of milk powder. Or I must use 5oz of water to shake well with 5oz of water, then add 2 more oz of water?
I still haven't brought the Beanstalk yet, because at the back of the container is only Janpanese, therefore I'm not sure how to make up the milk.
ACTUALLY I LEARNT HOW TO MAKE THE MILK FROM BK MUMS. YOU SHOULD FOLLOW THE 3 STEPS TO MAKE MILK DONE AT 7 OZ, INSTEAD OF USING 7 OZ WATER PLUS MILK POWDER.
YOU WILL FIND QUITE A LOT OF BUBBLES AFTER MILK IS SHAKED WELL. ANYWAY, NOT INCLUDING THE BUBBLES, THE MILK SHOULD BE DONE AT 7 OZ.
7OZ (200ML) MILK IS THE RECOMMENDED SERVING PER MEAL. IF YOUR SON REALLY NOT SATISFIED WITH 7 OZ, YOU MAY ADD 1 MORE SPOON MILK POWDER, MEANS 6 FLAT SPOONS DONE AT 8.5 OZ (240ML).
ANYWAY, 1 FLAT SPOON OF MILK POWDER CAN MAKE 1.5 OZ(40ML).
ONE MORE THING, THERE'RE 2 DIFFERENT FORMULAS SELLING IN THE MARKET, ONE FOR 0-9 MONTHS AND ONE FOR 9 MONTHS - 3 YEARS. PLS TAKE NOTE ON THIS.
HOPE IT'S CLEAR ENOUGH...
DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK IF YOU STILL HV QUERIES.
Thanks so much for your information. But I still have some more questions. For your information, 1 spoon milk powder can make 1.5oz of water. So 5 spoon should make 7.5oz of water? Or I should not worry this too much, just follow your 3 steps to make 7oz of milk with 5 spoon of milk powder?
Besides, I also read some other comments that there's 2 kind of powder, 1 is for 0-9months, the other is for 9months - 3 yrs old. But are they called the same "Beanstalk"? Is their container looks different? Or I should check with the Sales to make sure I pick up the correct one? :-P
i've just bought one can of Beanstalk for 0-9 mth baby.....may u further explain how to make up 4 oz of milk??? i don't quite understand !!! is that have 4 oz of water mix with 4 spoon of milk but dissolve the milk first and then add cold water later??? i don't understand why 5 spoon of milk powder mix with 7 oz of water....then milk power to water ratio is not 1 to 1 ???
sorry to make you confused. actually i mentioned oz for your easy reference only. you should follow 1 spoon for 40ml. so that 5 spoon for 200ml total.
color of the bottle for different age s/be also different, and on the bottle it mentioned 9 mon to 3 year. but in order to avoid mistake, you better reconfirm with the sales girl.
THE FORMULA I TOLD EMILYOBCHAN HERE IS FOR 9 MONTHS TO 3 YEAR (2ND STAGE). IT'S NOT FOR 0-9 MONTHS (1ST STAGE).
THE FORMULA S/BE DIFFERENT BETWEEN TWO BECAUSE THE PROVIDED SPOON FOR 0-9 MONTHS IS SMALLER THAN 9 MONTHS - 3 YEARS.
I REMEMBER THAT IN THE "SNOWBRAND" MEMBER PAGES I DID SEE THE FORMULA FOR MAKING MILK FOR 9M-3Y.
I'LL TRY TO SEARCH THE MESSAGE THERE AND LET YOU KNOW. BY THE WAY, HOW OLD IF YR BABY ?
I'VE FOUND THE FORMULA FOR MAKING MILK FOR 0-9 MONTHS, THE RULE IS 1 FLAT SPOON FOR 20ML.
SO IF YOUR BABY IS TAKING 4 OZ EACH MEAL, YOU SHOULD USE 6 FLAT SPOONS FOR MAKING 120ML OF MILK (IT'S A LITTLE BIT MORE THAN 4 OZ).
YOU SHOULD USE WARM WATER LET'S SAY 2 OZ TO HAVE THE MILK POWDER DISSOLVED FIRST, AND THEN TO ADD COLD WATER TILL 120ML.
IF YOUR BABY IS TAKING 5 OZ, THEN YOU SHOULD PUT 7 FLAT SPOONS FOR MAKING MILK DONE AT 140ML.
REMEMBER TO USE THE SPECIAL SPOON PROVIDED WITH BEANSTALK.
Thanks for your help....i know how to do.....and my baby drink more for this Japan brand...it seems that it is more liquid than those Hong Kong brand and my baby drink faster and digest seems easier.....
hi everyone,
it seems that a lot of mommies like snowbrand (both japan one and australian one). do you know why? what is good about their milk? I'm looking for a formula to feed my baby as he will be quitting breastfeeding soon... can you suggest?
My baby is 8 month eating A+ No. 1 and I am going to change him to Beanstalk. Could you please tell me the telephone number of Bonjour where you usually check stock and buy there?
