I've lived in the UK for 10 Years. There are so many single mums with kids living on social benefit. Those mum never work but spends money on drinking and smoking. They only give the kids like a pound (equal to HK$12.5) to buy a bag of chips for dinner, those mum will go to pub drinking all night long. That's why she is drunk and didn't realize her son is missing until too late!
It's very sad as England is the higher teenage pregnancy in the whole Europe. Accidents like this happen all the time!!
