In order for your husband to open a bank account here, you need to pass the 100 point system. Meaning he will need to bring identification documents under his name to make that 100 points.

check this

for example: a passport plus driving license could do already.

Another way to consider is bringing travelling cheque and bank in whenever an account is open.

All Obstertrican and Anasethestis charge are diff ga wor.... I can't give you the idea ~~~ but from what I remember my Obstertrican and Anasethestis charge are very expensive~~~ Total cost of my labour charge Jaydendaddy spent a lot of $$$$, It was because Jaydendaddy uncle is the Head of Paediatric General Surgery at Syd child hospital, so my Obstertrican and Anasethestis which is his friends.... and I didn't choose it.. he help me to choose it ga....

All the midwives are very nice to Jayden and I, I think because they all know Jayden grand uncle!! hehehee..... they also give me a very nice (sea and city view) and biggest room to stay.... (but all I remember is the pain !!!!)

I'm not too sure about Dr BOOKER, Andrew, cos I never have chance to choose my own doctor ga....

Don't worry ~~~ I can tell u it's very painful, but ~~ as long as u can see your healthy bb... it's the best thing in the world !!!!!

Sleep as much as u can la..... go for a walk ~~ will help for labour ga...

I saw that new migrants can just hold a passport to open a bank account within 6 weeks to 3 months. How about if I open a bank account immediately upon arrival?

Another question (

really? i am not aware about that as I was using the 100 points to open my bank account here. I have read thru. the topic by Mel mums vv123 and i think it is very good for you. Check this out

She is a baby girl la. We live near Bankstown. Her 雙眼皮 are not as deep as before la. :-( :-( :-( . i hope she will change back later on

I haven't followed all of your previous conversations but it seems that you are asking about how to open an account. I opened an account in HSBC but forget what proofs are actually needed. It seems that passport + 2 HK credit cards. You need lots of proof for bank accounts, medicare and driving license application. Oz document such as rental contract and proof of address is useful, but you have to make sure your name written there correct and consistent. Besides HK documents are useful too. Besides passport and HK credit cards, proof of HK address, termination of employment, cancellation of bank accounts and even packing list of forwarder may also help.
