I just suppose, if you apply PIPS, then it would be half day school. Will you apply for their full-day class?
The difference of half day and full day class is the child's 自理行為. When a child study in full day, he will learn to help himself eating, wearing shoes, brush teeth ….. etc. Not just learning through classes but practical everyday.
PIPS 直覺上收生不足, so each child MIGHT got more attention from the teacher. However, it is not really good in my point of view. As we, modern parents, already love our children too much, we give a lot of care and attention, if we have maids, usually maids would spoil the children by helping too much, either. So, the school becomes a balance to this, learning to be more independent. HKSPC has given enough attention to the children but won't be too much.
It don't sounds fair of giving marks for comparison of 2 schools but I only know the details of 1.
I have no experience in other schools, I only see improvement of my son after studying in HKSPC, and these improvement I can't tell would it be the same if he study in another school. So, even if I give HKSPC 90 out of 100, I don't think it has any meaning at all.
The fact is, does the method of teaching satisfy your want. Different people has different expectation. Just like some people highly recommended Creative 啟思, but I still know that some people don't like this school, they have higher expectation.
