re : teaching methods
actually I don't have, I'm a lazy mom. But for heib, I choose to let her go (to use her own way to study). Don't push, cos I found the side effects if I pushed her (when I taught her somethings, she said she didn't know, but if I didn't push her, she could told me all wor!!!). Now she can review what she learnt from school every night at home w/o my instruction (actually I gave up!).
I heard once from her.. she asked jenie to teach her english & she taught jenie the chinese words!
I learnt it from her school, Sister said don't push them to learn at this moment, K1-K3 should be a happy kinder life, just let them to enjoy the school life, play with classmates, once they feel happy, they'll learn with a positive attitude then (but I guess they didn't push too much, as they've a primary for backup)!
BTW.. I feel the teaching methods should be depended on individual child, if the character just like me.. then need someone to push me (like yoga, can't do at home, otherwise will be very lazy la). That's call - 'Yan Choi See Kow'.
