I returned from 祈福last night. We spent the weekend there, staying in the appartment, visiting the 长隆zoo, night circus (again). Still feeling tired and exhausted. Jun escaped from school again today!

The vinegar is still sour, but not tooo sour.
Not sure if your mum can eat woh.
Cos not sure of effect on diabetic patient.

It is white vinegar + sugar, then put in ginger.
Does your mum eat the baby ginger in Chin restaurants ? ?-(

BIg thing happened! Jun lost his Best friend Teddy Bear the first day at 祁福, I introduced him some "friends" in the zoo, he did pick another bigger teddy but dump it somewhere at home now. He woke up at 3am last night and cried:-( , "I want my best friend back. I want my Teddy"

Impressed because of the number of parents and that they all were 身光頸靚 (save for us). I also like their publications for P1 Admission. Very luxurious!

As for the headmistress, when asked about what kind of kids suit Co-ed, she basically lists the characteristics of a super kids. And she said, Co-ed is educating its kids using gifted child programme.

But I don't understand why she spent so much time (some 5-10 mins out of the 60 mins briefing) in introducing about the school fee remission scheme, which I think most Co-ed parents do not need it at all. ?-(

One funny questino heard: if my kids are twins, if one performs well during interview and the other not, will the former's chance of admission be affected?

Needless to say you can expect how the headmaster replied.

Yes, basically similar questions were asked duirng the briefing session every year!

I find some of the parents are v aggressive (I mean in asking question to impress Ms Lee) and eager to tell Ms Lee that their children are the best, in ALL aspects!! Very high profile... but personally I think that type of personality won't be welcome by the school!!

Piglet still takes his best friends along on trips, and we keep them in bags and only take them out at night to sleep with piglet.

So no chance in losing any of them.

Piglet has improved slightly re homework, finished half of copying (12 chi-yu in Chin) by himself last night.
This was only achieved by continuous nagging over the phone, and

the previous night.

But still sooooo careless / doesn't care. And he only managed to circle 9/12 of those chi-yus he need to write.

And forgot his +- maths !

But never forgets eating !

Dear BS,

I cannot agree with you more. I mean to my son. All your descriptions apply to my son totally.

Like on the first day of school, the teacher jotted down her office tel on the board and asked the children to copy down. My son has just copied 5 digits out of the 8. He does not aware that all tel. phones should consist of 8 digits. Silly!!

But he runs a perfect inventory of the snacks kept at home. Like, the icecream Grandma bought last Tue has not been eaten yet.

Dear GC & Che,

Some info to share with you.

I remembered that during the 2nd interview, Ms Lee, the headmistress turned on a stop-watch and tested the kid if he could be good and behaved in 10 minutes. Quite a challenge to a small kid!! She mentioned this clearly to my son. She told my son ,"Now you got 10 marks. If you can be good in 10 minutes, you will score full. However, if you can't, they will be taken away."

But there are some books beside and the kid can read them at will. My son did not stick to his chair, as always. He just sat for a while and then knelt down at the chair and read using the chair as his table.

Moreover, Ms Lee did most of the talking. She just asked us one open question and then she carried on the talking.
