But the train seems only starting from 7pm (or 6pm woh.....) better take the first train & the big show starts at 8pm

香江日間動物園有邊d表演係不容錯過的?

表演馬戲個廣場依家裝修緊呀，到農曆年會開番，應該會靚啲呱，唔知喎，我諗佢啲表演會耐不耐轉下既。
香江動物園我都未去過，不過睇前幾頁既留意話都好多野睇喎。

I'm going on Feb 10 (2nd day of CNY) and return on Feb 12 so the package is quite expensive.

2D1N hotel (with breakfast for 2) + 3 adults ferry ticket + 2 adults night safari ticket = HK$2,350. 1 child night safari ticket HK$65. 1 additional night hotel stay HK$1,100 (no breakfast). Altogether HK$3,515 for 3D2N. Since my son is already 6, he needs to purchase adult ferry ticket but his height doesn't reach 140 cm so can get child night safari ticket. I guess for Feb 14 it should be cheaper.

You better make a tentative booking in www.chinatravel1.com. Once you get a booking reference and call 2789-5402 and choose the option to confirm a booking, the line usually will be picked up promptly. Don't worry to make a booking on the net as China Travel won't confirm it before they speak with you.

I myself didn't stay in 長隆 before therefore can't tell whether it's too long for 3D2N. I think I may go to another day safari in Panyu on the second day or go to Clifford Farm.

我初頭都有諗過stay 兩晚 or 三睌, 后來諗落第二日去埋香江日間之后, 好似又冇乜地方再行, 花多千幾坟住多一晚, 都係覺得唔抵.
兩日行程可能會趕d, 所以我揀早去晚返嘅船飛, 可以stay耐d.

I will also go to 長隆 on Feb 14 and back on Feb 16.
Total 3D2N. I bought my hotel & vessel package from 康泰. For 2 adults & 1 small child (4 years old), they charged me $2831, which including two nights 長隆 hotel; 2 days breakfast for 2 adults (my son is not included); 3 round trip vessel tickets; & 長隆動物園入場卷2張(my son is not taller than 1.1m, so he does not need to buy ticket.)

3D2N is a bit too long to stay in Chim-long because the hotel did not have too much facilities for Kids to hang out for a day. [In Summer perhaps kids can stay in the pool for a day but not during Winter]
Furthermore the hotel is quite distance from major shopping district and Clifford, you have to take taxi even if you want to put yr kids to Macdonnel !!!

My suggested itinerary will as follows:

Day 1 - take the vessel from HK. Check-in hotel in the afternoon. Take a rest before going to night zoo at about 5:00pm. Enjoy the night in the Safari.

Day 2 - check-out hotel. Go to day-zoo if you or yr kids are animal fancy. There are playground in the day zoo which are suitable for kids between 3-6. 4-6 hours are quite enough for the day zoo. After that take taxi or bus to Guangzhou. Check in White-swan, Garden, GITICs or DongFong Hotel [5-star]

Day 3 - Get around GZ. There are many places and book stores to go for shopping and sight-seeing. Then take the last thru-train (depart at around 9:00pm) to HK.
