I'm now thinking to rent a flat a bit far from station and then buy a car; or alternatively, I pay a higher rent to a convenient flat, but buy a car after all things are settled. Do you have any opinion to me? Thanks ar......

Aiii...originally i think that i have enough spare $$ for settling down, but everythings seems more expensive than I budgeted...start worrying :*. Really don't know how much spare $$ is enough for this settling period. :-( :-(

However, after migrating to Oz, I will need to use MSN or Yahoo messenger very soon la, as I have just installed the VideoCam and plan to use this to communicate with parents and friends.

Yes, HK people are familar with HSBC. There is a HSBC nearby my house (in Husrtville) and all the tellers and officers know Cantonese. But you need to notice about the charges here e.g. there is charge for non-HSBC ATM machine transaction, and withdrawl and transfer by teller costs $5 each time, cheque withdrawl cost $1 each time... You can go to http://www.hsbc.com.au/1/2/personal/savings to learn more.

Really? They (HSBC) never charge me on this wow. I know non HSBC is 5 free times per month and teller cost is $5 but I never pay for cheque withdrawl before

Hi Hilary,

The account I am using is called Online Saving Account, the one that Samuellor mentioned. With this account, you can apply for a cheque book free of charge. However, if you issue a cheque, $1 will be charged if the receiver bank-in the cheque, and there is $5 charge if he/she get the money directly from the teller.

I'm using online saving account as well (for a very long time). never get charge if I issue a cheque wow. I mean when the receiver bank my cheque.

Oh yes, I've just checked that there is no charge for my 1st cheque issued last week! However, it is so mentioned in the website, and I have confirmed it again with the teller last week before I issued the cheque. That's strange, isn't it?

Hi all pretty mummies~~~

I'm back to Syd la... hahahaa.... Jaydendaddy & I have a wonderful time at Gold Coast ~~~ We stay at Courtyard Marriott Surfers Paradise Resort ~~~ & pick up the rental car from the airport~~~ lucky !!! we have the Narman (GPS) with us ~~~ a lot easy to go to any where we want hahahaaa.....

The weather was great!!!!!! We went to Wet'n'Wild (Tornado, black hole & Mach 5 so cool !!! I love it all~~ ), Movie World ( Batwing spaceshot more G-Force than a shuttle launch!!!!! & Superman Escape 0-100KPH in 2 seconds), Dream World ( The Giant Drop the fastest vertical thrill ride in the world hahahaa.... scary ~~ but fun!!!

Harbour town over 120 outlet stores hahaha~~~ We love shopping~~~ we brought a lot baby clothes from Polo Ralph Lauren factory outlet for Jayden hehehehehee~~ hehehee.....

hahaha...also I brought Jayden a superman & batman bodysuits at movie world hehhehe... :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Free for catch up lunch next Friday ? let me know la.... 25 May ? Any where in city or Hurstville or Caringford ?

Yes, my girl is not a baby anymore!!! :-(
She just had her 12 months vaccination last week.
Sometimes I wish she is still little so I can carry/hold her all the times. (Now she doesn't want me to carry her, she wants to walk..... :-( )

Michelle, this is your first trip with your baby after the birth? he...he... I took my baby to 2 short trips (hunter valley & port stephens), 1 interstate trip (Tasmania) and 1 oversea trip (Hong Kong) already in the past 12 months. (I love holidays. And no one can mind my baby for me, so I just take her with me everytime....he...he...)

My baby is not feeling well today. Blocked nose and some coughing. Really worry. :-| :-| :-| (my hubby is sick too, I have to look after both of them) :-( :-(

How are you all today? Who is a stay home mum like me?
What do you do at your spare times? (while your baby is sleeping!!!) I will chat online , watch TVBJ, do some cooking...etc.
