Harriet, You'll Drive Me Wild! (Paperback)
by Mem Fox, Marla Frazee
Whether she's knocking over her juice, dripping yellow paint on the carpet, or ripping apart feather pillows, Harriet Harris is, well, pesky. She certainly doesn't mean to be. And she's always very sorry for her behavior afterwards. Her mother doesn't like to yell, so instead she reprimands her with a gentle "Harriet, my darling child." But as Harriet's shenanigans escalate, so does her long-suffering mom's blood pressure. It looks like one more mishap will put her over the edge. And when that edge is reached, Harriet's mother yells. She yells and yells and yells.

As Kevin has already grasped the basic phonics skills in reading and he can also write , the Eng centre will arrange for him a P1 program which incl. grammar, building and writing full sentences, comprehension, oral and listening skills, etc.
Actually he tried the lesson with other K3/P1 kids last week and could get well along with the classmates and enjoyed the class.
Program will be commenced on Jan in 2 diff eng centre la.
btw, how's the progress of the IPA course? Started yet?
Remember your boy is 2+. The photo looks like 1+. He's very lovely.
Kitty,
Is one of the english centres include the one you have trial lesson last Friday? If so, could you comment their current status? It is quite close to where I live.
You know I'm a 香港友 and avioid going to Kln side, so both centre are located at the Island side gar... think it's too far away for your son la.
Actually one of them is located at CWB and the other is just nearby (5 minutes walk from home). If you're interested, I may PM their website for you to look look.
In view of your son's progress and your great effort, I trust he will catch up very soon!!
For the one you're talking about, I found the centre is quite spacious and well-furnished. The class size is small (just 3 kids, and max 4) and the native teacher seems good. Actually my son did enjoy the class and said he would love to come again! But taking the far distance into consideration, I turn it down la!
Actually I found the teacher there is relatively "young", they all seems just aged early twenty!! But the kids are quite happy wor.... and I know they use ORT as major edu materials in teaching.
btw, last time I saw a mother complaining that the teacher did not show up for 2 weeks and no notification to her at all!! And the staff explained that the teacher took leave for 2 weeks due to personal reason and would resume his duty for the coming lesson!!
I read from newspaper and learnt that US govt has insturcted their govt officials not to say "Merry Christmas" as they want to "dilute" the religious element.
No, but makes no difference to me.
I think it's done more to dilute the Christian element instead of just the religious element.
They always need to be careful and appear to be neutral in everything, with so many fanatics around.
Besides, the news also mentioned that kinders are forbidden to talk about the stories related to the born of Jesus during Christmas time!!! Unbelivable!!
