I'm staying at Tui Min Hoi （near the town), 1/f of a village/town house facing the sea, on the bund, you can reach the sea in 20 steps

It's my sis-in-law's house, bought it years ago. I will be moving back to my home this weekend, my 99's relative left already. Jun is so reluctant to go!

Just bought a Curious George VCD for Jun, surprisingly he likes it! I took him to the movie "Open Season" the other day, he stayed until the end. He is really 電視精！

Finally brought R&O to watch the Cantonese version of "Charlotte's Web", although I prefer the English one. Worth to go !!

It's a little bit boring at the beginning (my opinion), but overall it is good and meaningful, especially the ending is so touching that my boy and I

cried when we knew Charlotte was going to die :-( :-( . You may need to prepare your homework cause many kids will ask "why the spider die" ? Need to look for the answer.

- Piglet refuses to listen to anything, so I simply refuse to give him any pocket $, and keep his laisee $. But this yr it may be difficult becos he refuses to give me his laisee $ too.
He just wants to spend every cent he can lay his hands on, to buy vvv yucky sweets and chips and Mami noodle ==> nose bleeding. Also said he wants to use this yr's laisee $ to buy a set of McD Lego, ~$4xx for a small set which is 2nd-hand.
So cannot give him any $ to "manage", becos he will definitely MISmanage.

Hope you have better luck than me with A.

I think GC knows a few books, mentioned them ~Xmas, but I ?-( the names.

same as you Kitty, always buy buy buy ......but I think it's time for us to let our kid know the concept of 理財.

Any suggestions when we should let our kid start to have his/her pocket money ??

Adrian may be too early to learn 理財. Suggest introducing him the concept of 'money', 'currency', 'saving', 'buying'...etc. There are a few books published on teaching 'economics' and a bit about 'money'.

One is 小狗錢錢, another is 小猪搖錢樹。I'm afraid they are good for Pri 3- 99 yrs.

I think the 'Money Money Honey Bunny' of P.D. Eastman and the 'Spending and Saving' book of the Welcome Books series are good to introduce some low-B $ concept to Adrian, as well as my Bee. :mrgreen: The latter is only 1 of the titles in the 'money matters' series of Welcome books.

I like both very much.

Welcome Books series is one of my favourites for non-fiction titles. BUt they are dear indeed. I only collect some 10 titles over the years whenever they shown up at SC.

Feel very tired over the past two weeks. Yet, there is a big achievement --- Bee 100% 戒夜片(=戒晒片片！)，重係佢自己主動唔要再用片，要送晒d片比bb wor。過往我個工人真係無比心機鼓勵佢戒。Bee真係大個左啦。

Thank you for your suggestion..I think it's time to teach them the concept $$ now because this year he knew that the lassies were belonged to him and he asked me to put them in a safe place.

I know most kids will have pocket money when they reach P.2-P.3 level.

Will ask my bun-mui to bring the exercise books (螢火蟲強化語文練習 $45) at the entrance of CRC to you (your dad?) at 4:50pm today.
