I tend not to select such a type,
my personal bias,
but I prefer ppl to concentrate on what they should be doing and get the job done fast,
instead of butterflying around with all the unnecessary peripherals although they still get the job done in the end by hook or by crook.

Has asked yanyan to check whether the uniform shops in Lion Rock Rd are now selling short sleeved shirt. Will let you know tomorrow morning.

The 26-28-30-32-34 sizes are for pants, eg 運動褲。Size 32 is short for piglet, but 34 is a little too long.

Just finished another round of interview today. One mentally ill candidate. Must

those shortlist him. He even didn't know that he should not put his briefcase on the desk. And he had graduated 7 years from Lingnan but still working part-time only. He would say a word 'actually' for 4 times before he could go on.

Failed!!!

As for the paper cutting, that lady was taken picture after her participation in the IFC stairs-climbing race. Another cutting about her volunteer work in S. America helping the local to build school. She was digging something in a big den.

She is 30 yrs old. But look like 30+. Mature, reliable, smart and very all rounded!!! Maybe the choice is with her whether to join us... haaaaaaaa....

I wish I could have such a horse so that I can scratch my pinkies during office hours... :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Of course I know why.
They just wanted him to leave LN quickly,
never to return again (eg as a PhD or M student),
and not to show up in other Us either
(otherwise all the other Us would XXXX LN).
If they gave him a 3rd he would likely X himself or burn the place down or chop up his lecturers or fellow students esp those with 1st, and LN doesn't want that.
So they just let him sail through asap.

Didn't he tell you he has a CCTV through which he can see everything and everyone ?
That's why he is sooooo observant.

Do you have any idea where I can get cheaper air-tickets to the US? I want to bring the kids to the theme parks in Orlando this summer holidays.

Just checked some ticketing sites in the internet, very expensive for the summer holidays.

Last year we went to the Universal Studio in Japan. The kids enjoyed very much. So, we want to try the US one. However, the tickets seem to be so expensive!!

When is the low season for travelling in US normally?

Low season = Mar - May (now)
You see all the offers for $4xxx and $5xxx flights to US west coast.
Shoulder = mid-late June

If you want cheaper air tickets to US,
you have to wait wait till around end of June, then snatch the last-minute offers.
The above is from experience in 2005.

Internal flights are cheapest if you book 7 days or more in advance. Similarly for hotels.
Last minute bookings are the most expensive, their logic is last minute = urgent = they can rob you.

eg you can get Sing Air tickets to SF, or CX to LA,
then buy 3-stop passes to go to the east coast.
Ends up more expensive than going to theme parks in Calif (LA / San Diego).

Orlando is really really HOT in July. I went there once, in July 1986, nearly dead. Lots of thunderstorms. You get hot then soaked.
Don't miss NASA's Kennedy Space Centre if you go that way.

IF you go to Orlando, may piglet and I join ?

We may go to SF again in late July / early Aug, IF I get my mum's passport and our visas in time.
Need company if we go to Orlando from SF.

I went Orlando during Easter Holiday at 10 years ago, the weather was very good, warm and sunny, no raining. You should spend 5 to 7 days in Orlando.
Last time, I didn't visited NASA's KSC ! :-(

I went to Orlando ~12 years ago. Even in end-Sept., afternoon is still hot but day and nite times were cool.

Yes, NASA KSC is worth to be gone

Went with CCheng to Kids Section of H&M for a browse during lunch,
no queue at entrace we just walked in,
though quite a lot of ppl and long queue for payment,
lots more stuff suitable for girls at reasonable px than for boys (equivalent of somewhere between M&S vs Bossini and Giordano for boys but slightly more expensive than the latter).
