兒童賴夜尿不要責罵
小兒夜間遺尿除了使兒童身心困擾，也令父母擔心不已。日間遺尿性質不同，不在此討論範圍內。
兒童晚上尿床的情形是非常普遍， 5 歲的小童中約有 10% 會在睡夢中遺尿，到了 10 歲仍有 5% ，男孩較多。很多時患者的家長在兒時也有同樣的問題。

日間多飲水
父母在小孩到達學齡仍有夜間尿床就感到擔心，當孩子到 7 、 8 歲時自己也會感焦慮。膀胱控制的發展是一個複雜步驟，需要經過膀胱滿溢的感覺，膀胱出口肌肉的自動控制，以及一個正面的學習經驗。引起小兒夜尿失禁的問題複雜，但主因是膀胱控制發展遲緩，而絕大部份患者都會隨時日痊癒。
夜間遺尿症的主要檢查包括詳盡的病歷及體格檢查。除尿液分析外，很少需要進一步檢驗。
治療遺尿並不容易，但首要跟家人及小孩解釋情況，培養孩子接受遺尿治療的主動性，例如記錄遺尿日記，無尿床時可給獎勵。此外，要小孩對遺尿後果負一定責任（如自己更換尿濕的衣服床單等）。更要他們上床睡覺前小便，鼓勵小孩日間多飲水，傍晚後就盡量少飲流質等。進一步的方法包括條件作用治療，例如採用電子裝置放在衣服床單內，可鼓勵孩子的控尿能力。
年紀較大的兒童（ 8 歲以上），很多時需要參加集體活動如露營，夜間遺尿會令他們感到尷尬，藥物治療對這班兒童肯定起了作用，如 DDAVP ，臨睡前口服或噴鼻劑皆可。
大部份夜間遺尿的小孩都沒有精神因素，但持續遺尿會對他們造成心理障礙，加上父母及家人的壓力而影響本身的自信。所以當小孩夜間遺尿時，父母不應對他們埋怨責罵，反而應嘗試跟孩子解釋這是身體器官機能發展遲熟的原因，盡量安慰他們說這情況日後會改善。

Thanks. I did not scold bee for wetting the bed. But I would be stern in asking him to wee wee in the middle of his nap. I won't risk 'hurting' his self-esteem in any sense. But he is a stubborn little boy. He will refuse to wee if asked to.

Played BLOKUS with bee last night. He knows how to play it. But 3 mins 'heatness' only and then he started his jig-saw puzzle way of playing the set.

Yes, I lost the game to bee. Bee liked to drop all 'token' down by moving the switch at the bottom of the bus. He always likes to be different in his way of playing a toy.

Bee is very clever.

For the swimming coach, my son's coach is $250/hr, it is not extactly one to one, may be two or three, depends of the attenance of the kids that day. But the coach and his wife will teach together. He is very nice and patient to the kid. He is around 40-50+ of age. If you want the contact, i can pm to you. I know he will stay at Kln's park for Fri evening, Sat and Sun at LAICHIKOK's swimming pool.

Sorry, sorry...didn't mean that you've scolded Bee but just want to share with you my experience.
R used to wet the bed once or twice a week. I even attended a seminar on this and the Doctor said it's normal for boys cause their bodies are immature. We can stop him from drinking much water before bedtime so as to improve this. Or in your case, if Bee strongly refuse to, let's not asking and see whether he'll wet or not. If he can make it, then no need to wake him up during his sleep.

Hi Buddies,

These Easter holidays were busy and enjoyable.
2 days stayed at Disneyland Hotel, 1 day Egghunted at Discovery Bay, 2 days 拜山, 5 days to Beijing.

Just came back from BJ last Friday, I joined SunFlower 5 days tour. Both hotels were really really good ! Both can meet 5 stars level and got swimming pools. The Longxi Hotspring Resort is highly recoomended.
Total 12 children in the tour, so my son was extremely happy and played with others during the trips. At the last night, total 12 children from Kinder up to High school, they played Hide and Seek together.
Sometimes, we joined the tour is very good for our only child family !

Welcome back !! Wow... what a fruitful Easter!!

Great that there're a lot of children in the same tour so that TT has more pals to play with!!

Kv will speak in Cantonese for acknowledgement speech. I've just got the draft from school, and found there're 330 words!!

Hv to try v hard to let him memorize them all in a month...

Next time we may ride bicycles from Shatin to Tai Po cos the view there is excellent!!
