Response to I am generous : kid saving up $$ coins for giving away to the needy : Why should I do it ? I won't do it !
But he would give his $ to his classmate(s), just becos he/she doesn't have money to buy snacks !!!! (because that is not his money, it's papa/mama's $$ !)

The topics covered are actually taught under Pr 1 General Studies ga.

You mean the characters in OLW Variety are similar to those in OLW Duck Green ? Actually same series ?

Piglet went to papa's today, with entire contents of Lego house. Hope he doesn't lose any of the bricks there. With papa, he just builds anything his way vs. I will make him build the house on the box first, then he can build anything.

I have this nice book (洞洞書)to share with parents whose kids are below 6 yrs old. I read with my son last night.

It is a very simple story.
Differently diecut and boldly colored pages reveal increasingly scary features of a big green monster--on the first spread, we see two big yellow eyes; on the second, the eyes plus a long blue nose; and so on, until the monster is fully unmasked. But that's only half the story. "You don't scare me!" reads the caption after the monster is shown in all its horror. Turn more pages and, one by one, the scary features disappear, as does, of course, the monster. "And don't come back! Until I say so," the text concludes.

Very funny and it's good to have a +ve perception over 'monsters' , which even we adults may come across every day...

放心！這本書中的monster其實一d都唔恐怖！

A joy to read aloud, the simple story entertains even as it helps its audience master common fears. . Ages 3-8.

The book is actually an introduction to the parts of the body for young children. A page or two is devoted to each feature, which is displayed in a number of ways. ``Noses,'' for example, shows runny noses, itchy noses, blowing noses, and advises, ``Don't pick your nose.'' Slightly stiff illustrations show children and adults in everyday situations with accompanying descriptive phrases``Pushing arms,'' ``Yummy toes,'' etc. The organization of the text is somewhat illogical, with shoulders followed by belly buttons and nipples followed by arms. There are relatively few ``bare naked'' bodies, all belonging to babies or small children. Genitals are clearly displayed; a bathtime scene makes a comfortably natural setting. Although the artwork is mediocre, the concept is well done. This approach is a good one for older toddlers and preschoolers who are becoming aware of others' bodies as well as their own; it has the added bonus of descriptive adjectives which are useful for vocabulary building.

Any common words for genitals for girls? I use "bum bum" for her bottom but don't know the words for genitals. Any idea?

問過位專家說一般統稱"private body parts" regardless of boys or girls'，但我的朋友真係教個女叫學名"vagina"。
男仔簡單d，就叫"penis"，我個B叫自己小小B做"penis bird"!
真係問有女女的native English speaking 媽媽好d，唔會教錯。
