Hi Joe0526
Nice to meet you too!
I hate it when my hubby is sick! Because he doesn't cares, he doesn't go to see doctor, he doesn't put on enough clothes, he just gets me worry all the times. Now that I need to take care of the baby, I don't have times for him anymore.
Michelle,
You're lucky to have both grandparents to help you. My parents are living in HK. That's why I need to stay home to be a full time mum (My MIL not very interested in babysitting, she is very out going type of mum) I was on my own even the very first month after birth. That was really hard and I am lucky I didn't have PND (post -natal depression) So I need to take my baby when I go on holiday. No one can help me. :-(
Anyway we will go back to Hong Kong this X'mas to visit my parents. How much you pay for your air ticket? I paid $1623 for both (me and my baby) travelling in Dec! (hope is not very cold in Hk)
My girl is also one year old by this month end! You're so great to take care of a new born yourself, great ar!! What's her name ar, mine is called Allie.
Don't scold your hubby when he is sick la...this is his weakest time ma. Tell you that my hubby behaves EXACTLY the same. He always wear less and when he catches cold, he won't visit a doctor, he said he has a powerful immune system!!! Kick sai ar! But I also take care of him when he is sick. hehe... a very good chance to 攞分 ar!! hahahhaaha.....
How long has you been in OZ? you sounds very used to.
What a coincidence with the mummies here! My son is now enrolled in West Bexley United Church preschool, i.e. the one previously named Carlton United Care preschool! I have visited the "old" school in Hurstvile with my son several times before we started with the "new" school in Apr 23.
Yes, the teachers are all very nice. My son is now in the Koalas room, with 2 teachers able to speak Cantonese - Melinda and Cythnia. He is very OK except that he will cry a bit when I leave but will return normal as soon as I disappear.
The official opening of the "new" school is scheduled this Saturday at 2pm. Exising and previous students are all welcome to join. Maybe you can ring the school to register.
Both my son and my hubby is feeling much better now. I am quite busy these few days. You know, my mom has stayed here for 1 month to help me and she left last Satuday. So, from last Sunday onwards, i.e. the day both my son and hubby is sick, I need to re-pick up all the housework la. :-( :-(
I always go to Westfield Shoppingtown to shop. It's just 20 mins walk. Perhpas we have already met many times there without knowing each other la. Oh, maybe I should join the lunch this Friday, so that we can really meet in person. I need to attend playgroup with my son in the Pybestrian Church at the corner of Park Rd and Macmahom Street from 9:30 to 11:30, if you and Michelle meets in Hurstville, maybe I can join also. Otherwise, next time la.
Hi all mums
Little_A: My baby's name is Allyson. But we called her "Ally". Are you busy planning for your girl's first birthday? We had a big party at home but it was really fun and unforgettable.
I've been living in Sydney since high school....he...he...I'm very old now.....he....he....
ngmammy: my travel agent told me to pay for the tickets now because she said prices will go up. (I think they just want my $$$ as soon as possible)
I wish I can type "Chinese" in here. But don't know how, need my hubby to install it for me first. (I'm not good at computing at all) ?-( ?-(
hi joe0526
How old is your boy? when they should starting "pre-school"? (sorry, if my question sounds silly! I really have no idea when my Ally should starts going to pre-school or day care centre???) Thanks!
You are not silly! I am a new immigrants here so I should be very silly on many things in your eyes.
I think pre-school starts at different age for different school. My son's school has 2 classes, 1 for 3-4 years old and the other for 4-5 years old. I think some children go to child care as early as 2. Correct me if I am wrong, other mummies.
Thanks, Joe0526
Okay, I should start to do some search on this. How many days is your son attending pre-school? I know you can chooses between 2, 3 or 5 days, right??!!!
Is it ok with you that we could meet in Hurstville this Friday as Joesephine would like to join us as well? Love to meet Jayden as well.................
Good morning all,
Ngmammy, Yes! Allie and Ally !!!
Most of you living at South (Hurstville, Carlton & Bexley areas) and the City. Any mums from the North West ??
Sorry, I can't join you this FRIDAY, Hurstville is a bit far for me! :-( :-( :-(
