Overview:
The All Aboard Reading series is especially designed for beginning readers. Written by noted authors and illustrated in full color, these are books that children really want to read - books to excite their imagination, expand their interests, make them laugh, and support their feelings. This collection includes 7 stories: Princess Buttercup; Princess for a Day; Nina, Nina Ballerina; Nina, Nina Star Ballerina; Pajama Party; Nina, Nina and the Copycat Ballerina; Kate Skates.
Hi, friends, really busy. Worked till 9pm tonight.
Got the following and love them much!
The version i have comes with a bonus mini book (exactly the same content and no. of pages but just in the size of 2" x 3" !). Your kid will love to hold the small book whilst you read the big book to him/her.
Introduced by che in the past, really a lovely book with nice (to me !! subjective) illustrations. A good guessing book which tells you some interesting facts about the functions of ears, noses, eyes, tails, mouth..etc of certain animals.
e.g. i did not know that crickets (insects) have their ears at their knees!??? [che, why sbd mentioned openly about you on book purchase (somewhere) lately?]
Both books highly recommended for kids between 0-6 yrs (bluestar, your piglet may like the dino one!)
Don't know when I can have a min to sneak into BK next!!! Bye! Hope that I won't vanish la.
if you have pm for me, pls alert me by posting here.
I won't log-in unless needed.

If there are any Shakespeare's fans, watch out for a pop-up interactive book called "Shakespeare's Globe".
This large-format "book" folds out into three sections. The first displays a pop-up model of the Globe Theatre. On the next is an excellent booklet about the famous playhouse, written in the person of Richard Burbage. Glued into the third are pockets holding tiny, stick-puppet players on stiff, glossy paper and two actors' copies of a playbook reprinting and introducing a number of short scenes from Shakespeare's plays. Beautifully painted, the detailed and fairly sturdy pop-up model is a bargain at the price.
Paper characters and scenes are in that pop-up for your own play of the great classics!
Beautifully illustrated in two distinct styles, this book introduces readers to a Zen approach to the world, wrapped in a story about three siblings and their new neighbor, a panda. One by one, the children visit Stillwater, enjoying his company and listening to him tell a brief tale that illustrates a Zen principle.
Each time, there is a link between the conversation shared by Stillwater and his visitor and the story he tells; it's somewhat tenuous in regard to the two older siblings, quite specific in the case of Karl, the youngest. The tales invite the children to consider the world and their perceptions from a different angle; for Karl, the panda's story gently but pointedly teaches the benefits of forgiveness.
