you can vote but PR cannot. Some centrelink allowance, like study, pension allowance only for citizen.

Yes, when you move in it should be cleaned by previous tentant. You need clean everything, carpet need to be steam clean too when you move out.

it cost around $400~$700 depends how big your house.

If you damage the paint, you need to repaint it or they deduct it from your bond.

Most of common activity that Hk have, Brisbane also have it. Some activity like ice-skating even cheaper than hk, group learning only A$5 per lesson (30min)

Hi pigpig, we are lucky to live in Brisbane City Council area. If you are living in Logan City Council area, that Yellow and Green bin combined into one bin with partition inside, which mean you halve your volumn for general and recycle waste, and the bin size is smaller than our single one.

Once every two years, Brisbane city council will arrange kerb side waste collection, those large funiture, white goods etc can put along kerb side and council will come to collect for free.

This year, north side is large garden waste kerb side collection and south side is large waste kerb side collection.

Next year will be reversed. Check BCC web site then you can find out what date of your suburb will have collection.

我有位朋友曾住new zealand, 佢話個邊既sink去水位度裝咗個blender之類既野, 會將食物殘渣攪到好碎, 然後沖落水渠. 唔知道你地係澳洲有無用呢樣野?
D食物如果放係垃圾桶兩個星期, 會唔會好臭?

yes some house installed this but I feel dangerours to use. It only can cut food wastes but not any bones, I feel dangerous to fall small spoon etc in it and break the cutter inside.

General waste clean once a week and the bin is at outside. Of course it will smelly if you not seal it properly, especially in Summer it is very smelly if you open the bin cover, but normally you won't smelly it unless you open the cover.

要睇下你住果間屋有無呢個裝置，我屋企有，所以我會收菜汁倒落去，整走佢，但係唔可以放骨頭，部野會壞ga....
食物垃圾係放一個星期，唔係2個星期，如果用垃圾袋裝好，打好結，應該唔會臭ga...
