You need to call 311 to find the zone school for your children, you can not just find the school and put application in.
You need to have their update immunization card, with their birth certificate, address proof, and your photo ID. You can only go to the school which 311 told you to. If they told you to go to one school, you can not go for the other one.
How come there will be 2 PS???? as they all offer Kindergarten to 5th grade, your 2 children will not go to 2 different PS basic on your address.
Call 311 and tell them your home address, and tell them that you are applying school for your children because you are new immigrants.
Tell them all your children's ages. so they can give you all school information!
please bare in mind, even you live just a block from that school, if you are not inside that zone, your children will still send to the one that s/he belongs to.
Those 3 schools you mention are all first 15 tops school in Brooklyn.
