Hi! Moms, I just passed by your topic. My son is going to K3 in the coming year in St. Cat, I really want to give some actual information about this school. I hope you must choose a right school for your bobo carefully and give them a good kindergarten experience.
I am studying in Norfolk campus, we have 18 classes last year (not included Essex branch) I think around 20 classes in their campus. NOT ONLY 4-5 CLASSES! Teachers are difficult to understand clearly children's characters and they cannot give enough time to teach each one.
For my son's class, we have 35 children in a class, but I know some of the other class have 40 or 25 children in a class.
In K1, my son's english teacher was INDIAN and not a nice teacher also. So my son did not learnt well last year because he doesn't like her teaching style.
In K2, they have only 40 mins. for English lesson, 15 mins. for telling story, another 15 mins. teacher will teach them by one to one basics.
Math, we used a new syllabus last year as a lot of mothers complaint their math standard not match to Primary standard, but seems not very work!
Mandarin, only 30 mins in one week to sing a song. That's all.
For my personal general comments to SC on all subjects:
English OK
Chinese below standard
Math below standard
