Dear Gloria,

I wish to be be full-time mom too. You know, raising two kids is like having two mortgage loans. A lot of expenses each month. So, have to work full-time and be a part-time mom.

Yeah, I love to visit BK. It's so relaxing to read your gals' recommendations. I learned a lot from you gals of what's hot outside. Since my work is very busy during daytime, I can only visit BK during lunch time and after work when my little bosses at home have slept. :-( :-( Poor me!

You are right that raising kids is like having mortgage. but the no. of years is unknown. You have two 'properties'... which district ? (kidding only!)

re your postings on 'big talk', they are not successful becoz that image function can't show images stored in your pc but only those hosted in a website. You can 'right click' the image shown in that source-website and then post here as image.

Hello, FXPC, Long time no see. How we miss you!! Believe me, since you were not around and without your good recommendations on PRC books, I haven't been to CW or IDXX for a long time. Moreover, I haven't touched Dang Dang for a long long time.

Bluestar, Gloria, you are right, the term of our mortgage loans is indefinite. Our kids are still cute and lovely now and so I still have the motivation to work for the mortgage repayment. However, when they step into their rebellious teenage, I really doubt if I still have the motivation ...
Ai, no need to think so much la. Look one step and walk one step la.

I recall that your maid was on holiday not too long ago ja woh !!

Will you be taking leave this month, or getting a local part-time to help ?

I can imagine how you feel now -
My Indo maid will take her leave in May. Wonder how I will survive. I need somebody to do full set housework for 1 full month. But cannot employ DH for that month, local PT won't work from 7am - 9 pm, no 1m FT help available .........

HELP !!! :-( :-( :-(

Why doesn't anybody train some locals for 1mFT stand-in maid jobs !!!!!

Hello Bluestar,

I can't imagine how I can survive this month.

I can't take holiday and only my hubby takes leave for the whole month. He will be the one to send the kids to school and fetch them. But he can't stop his work the whole month and he will go back to office by the time when the kids are in school.
Moreover, Grandpa will come from Malaysia!

The same will happen to me this November (in case I extend my m's contract). My maid has only 8 annual leave days left (cos she has encashed 8 days already).

How come 1 month? Should be at most 1x days? So you are giving them no-pay leave? I did not for her 1st contract. In view of my busy job, I don't know how to handle either. I plan to let her return earlier (say August) as it won't be affordable in November or December.

Btw, I heard that the rule is to let her get out of HK every two years ( or back to Phil exactly)?? In that case, my m has no urgency to 'redeem' the leave sharply by end of the curr contract coz she has been out of hk in October twice. Am I wrong?

FXPC, like you, I won't be able to share more as b4 la ... :-( :-( Salami will remain as our 'pillar'.
