You are very much welcome!!! I am so happy to hear your kids love the colostrum!!! (Ziggy, it's colostrum, not 羊奶片 ar.... they have different properties and advantages.... ) My Charmaine keeps asking for that throughout the day too!!!! hahaha!!
How about other mama? do your kids like that? If I operate AKL (New Zealand) flight in May/June, I can help to buy some more later and can save the delivery fee too, since it will be in my lugguage.... :-P
Akachan, Mandy2003 & Jasmanipan,
You have to thank to Pizza too.... since I am too busy to get the colostrum for you, so I have given all the Pizza to distribute.... sorry Pizza.... 我成日將d自己搞唔掂既野俾晒你 (就黎連呀charmaine都俾埋你...哈哈!!).... 鬼叫你係主席大人咩~~~ [size=large]多謝幫忙呀!!!!!
Thank you very much! I haven't given to Justin yet, as I want to wait until he finished the bottle I bought from "Ho Fa". But I am sure he will love it.
As I missed the group order, may I know whether it is the same product between the one in "Ho Fa" and the one that you have bought via group order? Many thanks.
I do not remember the brands of both, but the shape of tablets are different. Therefore, I think they are in different brands, but both manufactured in NSL.

IceCrm, 如果你下次再攪group order 麻煩你預埋我呀,因為我今次miss左!
Cyrus, htm, Cathy, dd104 & others,
No problem, I think I will go to AKL in May/June, becos my very very best friend will go back for vacations that she ordered me MUST GO THERE AT THAT TIME wor~!!! Will let you know when it is confirmed later!!
Natasha,
Charmaine takes 6-8 times a day, but I only give half tablet each time (I am so mean!! Becos it's quite expensive ar...) she always keeps asking once she has finished and sometimes when she sees us having snacks or sth to eat, she stare at our food and want to eat too, so I give her colostrum as well....
Akachan,
Adult can take colostrum too, to build up better immune system against the virus and bacteria. Wish you will recover soon la~~~

Just wondering if you know about any harm done for babies having a servere febrile convulsion?
Natasha's first attack is over 30 minutes and the worst is having a seizure every seconds. The whole thing last about 2.30 hours on and off.
From information I read, they said the convulsion normally lasts from a few seconds to less than 15 minutes.
Very sad to hear Natasha has been suffering from febrile convulsion. It is true that the seizure normally lasts 10-15 minutes the most. If seizure & cramp persists such long duartion, the Dr. should administer medicine into the anus (塞肛) where it is absorbed quickly into the bloodstream and stops a convulsion. And I suggest you to keep some 塞肛 medicine at home to use just in case. What did the Dr. explained to you about the duration??? I really hope the below will be useful for you.
A febrile convulsion (小兒急驚風/熱性痙攣) is a seizure (a 'fit') which occurs in some children when they have a fever (high temperature). The vast majority of febrile convulsions are not serious. Full recovery with no permanent damage is usual.
About 3 in 100 children have a febrile convulsion sometime before their 6th birthday. They most
commonly occur between the ages of 18 months and three years. They are rare in children under
six months old and over the age of six years.
Any illness which causes a fever (high temperature) can cause a febrile convulsion. Most occur
with common illnesses such as ear infections, coughs, colds, flu, and other virus infections.
What does a febrile convulsion look like?
The child may look hot and flushed, and their eyes may appear to roll backwards. They may
appear dazed and then become unconscious. Parts of the body may twitch or shake. It does not
usually last long. It may only be a few seconds, and is unusual for it to last more than five minutes.
The child may be sleepy for some time afterwards. An hour or so later the child often appears a lot
better when their temperature has come down.
What first aid should I do for a febrile convulsion?
Note the time it started. Lie the child on their side with their head level or slightly lower than the
body (the recovery position). Do not put anything into the mouth, but remove anything that could
affect breathing (such as vomit or food). Do not shake the child. When the convulsion stops, try to
lower the child's temperature to make them feel more comfortable. To do this take off their clothes,
and give some paracetamol or ibuprofen as soon as they have recovered enough to swallow.
Febrile convulsions occur in 4% of children. Most of these children have just one febrile convulsion in a lifetime. The other 40% of children who have had a febrile convulsion have 1 to 3 recurrences over the next few years. Febrile convulsions usually stop happening by the time a child is 5 or 6 years old.
Irene, really hope it will not happen in the future and remember to keep Natasha stay cool in case she got high-temperature.. (TOUCHWOOD!!!)
Other mama, high-temperature (fever) can lead complication like the above. So, correct attention is needed and remember to keep the child cool if really happens. Wish all kids stay healthy all the time!
The convulsion was so bad that the doc had to give her anal medicine before rushing to the hospital and injections directly to the hip before the convulsion stopped completely.
They said it's due to the sudden rise of her body temperature which caused the fits itself. The fever was caused by some sort of virus infection which also triggered otitis media in her case.
I have stocked some anal medicine at home in case of any reoccurance. Hope I'll never have to use them again.
Very much appreciated that you have included Natasha's problem in your prayers, thanks!
BTY, did you deliver Charmaine at Hong Kong Adventist Hospital at Stubbs Road?
Yes... Charmaine was born in HK Adventist in Stubbs Rd. It is a very good hospital with very caring nurses and good facilities. I was very very impressed by all the nurses in the O & G Dept. at that time, by their first class service. Did you mean you sent Natasha to HKAH for her febrile convulsion?
Anyway, hope Natasha will be fine.... God will look after her!
Yep, I was going to send her to HKS&H again but the doc said it's better to send directly to HKAH due to the traffic. I was very impress with them too. It was a more pleasant experience compare to the previous one. Some of the nurses are very professional and caring too.
Mind you, the hospital charges are also cheaper than HKS&H.
Because of this, we had decided to admit Tasha to HKAH again this time.
Tasha is recovering now, the rashes is fading and she is eating and drinking more now. But after this time, really dare not to bring her out to anywhere from now till term starts in August.
