我都係o係商務個counter買, 有八折, 折實係$40.8- 你o係邊個counter買, 幾$?

唔好誤會, d pregnant books係比我弟婦, 佢岩岩bingo!

3b,

我見到$100/6本o係係 Hall 5 Welluck 個counter. 其實禽日o係另外一個counter都見到係$100/6本, 不過數量好小.

呢套書會深入介紹英文每種標點符號的用法，因為學校未必會詳細深入咁教好多時都ignore左，結果就亂咁用喇。呢套書用故仔的形式，去demostrate 有關的usages. 內容處處顯現左英式的幽點。最有趣的是每個故事主人翁的臉都有一個好distinctive的facial feature如question mark 會有一個彎彎的大鼻子. 可以吸引到小朋友. 買一套書仲送一本big book添.

英磅原價每本五英磅，大眾價$38一本，買齊頭6本送big book(成個系列的introduction 個故仔好interesting. 本big book $99)

我係longman買左1set暑期作業(6本)---$118
景行買左2本中文版'大科學'---------原價$100本,宜家半價
係晶晶買左本成串厚既全英文彩色全科exercise---$116,平左成$30

and2-3本其他書.

請問各位在書展有否見到:

1) 标准英语分级读物
=>你講邊間出版社?? 花多眼亂, 有好多類似的, eg. step into reading, ladybird, oxford reading tree, oxford story tree...

2) 国家地理儿童百科
=> 有, 不過係繁體版box set, 可以組成一個cabinet (好似disney english 咁), 一套約萬五蚊.

I have mixed up Step into Reading and Start-to-Read. I bought the latter not the former. Sorry....to confuse you.

I bought 5 nice titles of Level 1 Step into Reader today. They are still too expensive la. HK$40 with 35% off then it is $30 per book.

I got only the following titles of LEVEL 1: Mice are nice, See the Yak Yak, Wheels, Go UP and Down, and , Mouse makes Words. They are more worthy to buy than other titles in the same level.

Indeed, One LEVEL in 景行 comprehension programme only involved 9 books. Each level costing HK$400 that means $33.33 per book. Not cheap but provided with web-services.

I have got a list of the books suggested in the comprehension programme. Simply just follow the titles and borrow from the library.

Other items bought are:

亲亲大自然 - 自然故事花园 $120 for 12 books (org price is HK$360) <--- good story and have interesting info about the subject matter at the book of the book e..g sparrow, salt, water, lizard, grape...etc.

景行《珊珊》，《树真好》(=A tree is good (an caldecott medal winning book)

For those who look for Better Chinese set (36books) only HK$300 at 景行

I hope I need not go any more.

(but not much titles)
兒童彩色世界文學　:　小婦人、簡愛、孤星淚、傲慢與偏見等.　＄99 / 4 copies.
( The word is big enough, my daughter said it is easy to read).
Some exercises from 精英、新雅,　all of them are 八折.

I don't have enough time today, will go again.

Envy you all - you can shop your pockets out !
Whereas I'm now stranded (computer-wise and book-wise) in the suburbs of SF.

Gloria, kittilock, etc etc,

Need to try this method of communicating.
Cannot even send or read pm !!
My cousin's PC is sooooooooo sloooooow - like a snail / turtle. I think it is too jammed up by software and fragmented data. And still using dialup modem !! (Extinct, dinosaur !!)

My report on books which I had e-ordered from Ah Ma Zok are :

1. The Alpha Tales, Grammar Tales and those books you introduced from Ah Ma Zok are good.

2. In future, if anyone tries to e-order from Ah Ma Zok, pls try to lodge a request that they use minimal packing material. The packages are actually filled with packing material more than books.
And they can be so dxxx stupid as to put 1 book (RC's Biggest Storybook Ever or something) in 1 box, the book itself is about 3 - 4 inches tall, while the book is only under half-an-inch in height !! This is really too much. And 2 orders came in a total of 5 shipments, which could all be packed into 1 large box !!! The rest of the space is filled with paper, and some packing plastic bags (big A5 size bubbles) !!! Really environmentally unfriendly !!

3. If anyone tries to e-order from Lego, the same applies - extravagant packaging, in the form of foam nuggets. I bought 7 Lego figure keychains and had to fish them all out from the box of foam nuggets.

Anyway, quite frustrated that I cannot send / receive pm, and that I cannot join in your hunting game at the Book Fair !!

I vow to go to as many local (SF) bookshops in compensation !!
