i saw from news that the people in florida are still wearing short sleeves t-shirt yesterday. people going there for sunny beach will have a remarkable holidays la.
btw, we are having -31c (+windchill) tonight.
So is here in Calgary.... we've been lucky for a while...but this week is cold and today is the coldest day this winter.... -25 +windchill...barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Just how many more days are we getting this cold weather. I can't stand it anymore. I always thought if the temp. drops below certains degrees, there will be no snow but today ...
Later I found out this is due to lake effects. The mositure from Lake Ontario brought the snow today. I heard it's going to be -35 tonight.

How can you survive in the office where there is no heat? It will be very very cold. I have never let my girls go out to play in winter, as I am so afraid of cold; and they will easily get sick in coldness.
There seems to be some sort of function in First Markham Place on 1/31.

you are so funny, but you are right. i will not go to pacific mall/market village whenever it is Chinese festival. i have no patient to fight for a parking spot with others.
have any of you been to the new supermarket (kennedy/denison). heard from my sister that there are a lot of stuff. i will go to have a look tomorrow.

I heard in the news yesterday that City of Toronto will increase the property tax AGAIN!!! Another positive reason why we should live north of Steeles (oh, and the other is cheaper car insurance)

I'm a calgarian and I know what you mean by that! Honestly, ppl here quite hate chretien and i do think the moral here is a bit better than some other places in the country. and a hyundai won't last you long here .......
how is chinese new year in the rest of the country?? there's really nothing special here in calgary... some 年宵 thing happening in china town... but really boring stuff and so many ppl i wouldn't even bother going
