Getting to Grip with Grammar can be found at cwb kmk.

In my little opinion, this book is not suitable for young kids. No need to teach them what nouns, adverbs, verbs and adjectives are at such an early age. More for above 6 yrs old. Content is not rich enough as a grammar book.

I agree that Cool Cats-phonics set is not as good as thought. Only Books 5 and onwards are good. THe first few books are too american. Jazz, rip-rap, and hip hop... don't know how to explain to my kid. Luckily, from book 5 on, more fun!!

I'm still around today. Flight is tomorrow night. Promise I will shop till I drop !!

We (me and my son) went and saw the dinosaur bones in Taikooshing last Sat evening - not too many people, no need to queue, and you can get decent photos.

Good in the sense that kids will have some idea of how big the dinosaurs are, and approx how long ago they lived.

But if kids love the cartoon dinosaur illustrations, be careful - they may feel very disappointed that real dinosaurs are not that cuddly-looking.

You can pick them there instead of buying from Tw. And, indeed, simply borrow from lib.

I've been to the dinosaur show with my son yesterday. That's great!!! Imagine that you can see the fossil in such a short distance. Some of the dinosaurs are enormous and some are quite small in size. If your son loves dinosaurs, you should consider to take him to the show.

Did you buy the "Critter Collections - the 2 hardcover books and 2 boxed sets from Ms. sq??
