I talked to the agency today (though I am not sure the agency is trust worthy or not). Their advice is if I could arrange my maid to take 2 weeks leave, I should allow her to take.

The most important thing is to let her sign a letter, clearly stating the leave is a no pay one and it is a special arrangement per the request of the maid. The most important thing is to state clearly that if she doen't come back after 7 days of the agreed date, she is agreed to give up the job and I have no obligation to give her one month notice.

I would try to arrange her vacation around Easter. Then, I would plan for a trip with my hubby and daughter.
