Tonight, after finishing the IPA (parents workshop), daddy and I went to "computer centre" as per Derek's recommendation ==> upgrade my computer with a higher RAM (we bought a 250GM HD) and a better speakers. Lost $$ again :-( :-(

Yes, the day camp is for age 5++ ...

The cheapest way is to wait until your boy is six and he can join the youth membership which costs entry fee $600+ann fee $160 (current price). If he want to be a member before six, you can only join the family where it is $1600+$810 !!

They usually will offer 40%-60% disc in the Dec open day. Or if BS have the membership over 10year, YMCA will send her a 50% off coupon and you may ask her for it !!

BTW, is your boy studying in SKH (Central) ? I got a friend who work there.

I'm not rich..I just spent less $$ on books so I can save a little bit $$ for our travelling..

I think you just need to take very short time to finish the book.. I found some of the method to deal with child really works.. It's worth to read it..

Will Idxx on sale after 528 ? I just went there yesterday..Most of the books have been removed from the bookshelves..so just not many books are left..

Actually, most the things that Derek Kwok told you in the class was exactly the same when I had taken the course 3 years ago ..

If the IPA course is the same as that 3y ago, DK is making good $ woh, and w/o imputting new effort. Goooood business.
Why don't those of you who have already taken the course try to tidy up what you learnt and start a $$-charging course for yourselves tooooo.

The things like silent letters which DK is teaching, but not found in phonics, are covered in the following pr school textbook :
"Word Perfect", publisher : Ginn
(eg WP Bk 1, Bk 2...... Bk 6 or 7)
These books were used as textbooks by DGJS, and MCS is still using them now.
A vvv thin little book costs HK$6x+.

And remember, IPA tackles the pronunciation only. There are still grammar, compo, .......lots more in Engl than phonetics.

I think DK might major in phonetic. Don't think everyone could run the same type of business equally well. You know maybe when the HKCCE or HKALE 's syllabus cover IPA too la.

ai~ I forget tim, last night, Derek introduced us a software about Encycopedia which is vvv good. He said he bought this at amazon.com before and now there is a website something call 2c??? can also be bought but cost $5xx

Today, I tidy up holman's books cd/cd-roms/dvd, etc. from morning up till now

As I got the bkppl last night la

To my surprise, there is a hard cover letterland bedtime story as one of the gifts (there are totally ~10 hard cover books ==> that's why the weigt are so

la) which worth 10.99 pd.(this book is already out of print ga la, I can't find this at ETC). Besides, the thomas set, Usborne set and MK set are very good

Others may too difficult for holman's age now but still value for money (but daddy

as he said if he told me it's value for money, I may crazy again wow :tongue:

)

Observation :

BK remains short these days -
This post is already into Page 91,
but the summary on "Sum Sing" only goes to P90,
whereas if you click into this topic,
you find that Pages 92 -- 97 already exists, but contains nothing.
