1. 你點解唔問你Agent? 首先到領事館加簽合約，然後入Immigration申請work visa，合共需時6-8星期。
2. 時時跟進直至入左Immigration，可2-3星期後再跟進。
3. No problem.

I do not know about the website you mention to comment. Just as long as the amount you pay her can really pay for the ticket to place of origin at that time to travel is good enough.

Actually the choice belongs to the employer to either pay the ticket or give her cash, not the helper.

我個印印已滿約 (aug-25)及已經跟她續約 , 她將於10月中放假, 現有下列問題想請教你:

1. 她要求坐直航機到泗水, 我是否一定要提供給她?? 如果不用, 可否叫她自己補直航機與轉機之差價?? 是否所有費用如離境稅都是我負責??

2. 可否要求我倆各自付一半機票費用, 待她回來後先退回給她??

3. 可否hold她一個月人工, 待她回來後先退回給她??

4. 是否要她簽定一封辭職信, 如果她不回來便當她辭職?? 有沒有此信之sample??

5. 有沒有part time 工人可以做2個 weeks 可以介紹??

還有什麼地方我要留意?? 謝謝幫忙.

第一次請印印的問題

MRS. ROSE,

因為我第一次請印印，我有以下問題想問：

我問Agent有沒有 House Rule 及 Timetable參考，他們說沒有，請問你有沒有samples可以email 給我呢？
如印印到港，是否等她的驗身報告出來才接她返家？我是否有須要再帶她到其他醫生驗身呢？
如印印到了家，是否立刻和她說清楚House rule，用廣東話或是用英文呢？是否須要錄音？
我是否須要幫她買定保險，或是等她來港先買？
我應該幾時出糧給她呢，每月的月尾或是由她到港日計呢？同時出糧的糧單，請問你可否email給我呢？印印出糧是否俾現金或是俾cheque或是銀行過數？
最後，我想問是否有需要叫印印寫log book,寫下每天BB食什麼、幾時食、換了幾多次片，去supermarket買了什麼用了幾多錢？同時，是否每天給錢或是每星期給錢呢？

請問入境處通知我申請ok,是否agent交文件正本和錢後,就可以安排菲傭來?一般來說大約需多久工人才可低港?
又,如果我想菲傭遲點來(約半個月),又是否ok?
working visa是否在她低港那天開始計兩年?

Mrs. Rose,

My maid is going to finish her contract by 25 Nov. We planned not to renew her contract, but haven't informed her yet. Today, the agent phoned us and asked if we want to renew. I said we are considering and she gave me one week for consideration.

How shall I answer the agent in one week? I'm afraid that the maid may no longer work as hard as before if we tell the agent our decision and she in turn informs the maid. Our original plan is to inform the maid one month before the contract-end date. How long will it take to renew a yin-yin's contract?

Btw, we are hiring a new maid through another agent.

Direct hire from Philippines

Hi Mrs Rose,
My maid will not renew contract end of Sept. due to her family problem. She is recommending a friend from Philippines who worked here in HK before. Please advise the following:-
1) what the costs are and how much
2) who should bear these costs
3) How long would the application process take? If the new helper knows someone from the local Filipino agency, would it be faster?
4) If we process papers at 1st week of Sept, do you think the helper can come to HK before end of Oct or early Nov?
5) Is that right that I can extend my existing helper for 1 more month at the most after contract expires?
6) anything else that I need to pay attention to?

你好呀!我個bunbun 十一月頭就做滿2年，都諗住續約。我亦叫佢自行問下d friend 點去續約的。而自己就唔太清楚. 我番查前幾頁你的回應，有關入境處d資料。但都想請教一下:

1.佢9/11/07到期，是否可以12月才回鄉放假，如重疊在勞工假點算，eg 26/12 咁係當一日定仲要補多一日?

2.由於佢married, 咁回鄉前可否叫佢去e生到打避孕針，(費用由我俾)

3.唔經agent 續約, 會否對我無保障。如經agent 一般收僱主費用多少? bunbun 又多少?

4.如自行續約，點去保障自己。佢回鄉前是否要扣起一個月糧，但係係犯法的。亦都聽聞可以叫bunbun 寫定證明話在限期唔番當毀約，咁有無sample 呀! 謝謝!

5.機票方面，太約幾$到，同是否需要俾額外車$, 點計算架?

1. 無需俾直航，轉機到泗水亦可。當然可以叫佢補差價。係由僱主負責。

2.法例上由僱主俾晒來回，佢同意就梗係好啦。

3.佢走時巳到糧期就要出，唔可以hold。

4.無sample叫佢自己手寫，幾時去幾時返，過期唔返當辭職。

5.我無part time 工人可以介紹，另外傭做part time係犯法架，所以只可請本地part time，打去家務通揾免佣。

無其它，我覺得你已經好識得保障自己了!



我都沒有 House Rule 及 Timetable俾你參考，通常由僱主寫自家要求俾我地翻譯，而唔係由Agent提供。

1. 如果Agent係HK有帶工人驗身即可，無須要再帶她到其他醫生驗身。當然最好等驗身報告出來才接她返家，但不知你Agent可以否。
2. 要事乎你工人識中文定英文，當日講定日後講都無分別隨你。
3.保險到港日起保即可。
4.最好到港日計，因工人要還訓練費俾印尼，遲左財務會計利息。明天我會email糧單俾你，出糧俾現金或俾cheque或是銀行過數，都可以隨你。
5.係你用工人只要你覺得有需要，你想佢點做都得，隨你歡喜。 

交文件和錢後，visa就可以即出及Agent可安排工人到港，需時約1-2星期。遲D黎無問題既，working visa在她到港日起計兩年。

I don't find the need to hide from the maid. If her working performance during her contract with you is overall satisfactory, you can tell her that you will give her a good release letter if she continue to work well until end of term. You can even offer to let her prospective employer call you for reference if needed.

For the agent, if you still want to delay in telling her, you can break the news to the agent exactly one month before end of contract. Just tell them now that you will renew but when the time come just tell the agent there is a change of plan or decision. No need to explain further.
