Friends,

Do any one know if there are any places on Kln side that teach small kids French? My son's summer classes at East Hill have finished. I need to plan for further learning after the summer holiday. But prefer kln side if possible.

I passed by Country Wood today and found the Guess How Much I Love You is $50 b4 discount. I did not buy it. Too expensive. I would borrow from lib instead. Afterall I have the mainland version, can simply jot down the English texts, type them out and tell the story using human-NICAM!

Bought "Guess how much I love you" 3 yrs ago from Daiwoks at $28, small hardcover.
Should check the small books in Daiwoks and CommPress sometimes you find something worthwhile.

Did the same for "The Snowman" - bought a no-text board book version for my son then borrowed one with text and typed it out. Easy cos not much text anyway.

Went to Office Depot to buy a 2nd heavy duty carton box which could hold max 120 lbs, and transferred most of all-book contents from a weaker carton box over, plus our kill today : 4 Pluffies beanie babies $4.99@+tax, and 6 new beanie babies for $8 bought from a garage sale nearby.

So transferred RC Biggest Book from its carton bottom holding position over to suitcase.
Box for Lego Thomas set is also in suitcase, contents in carton box.

So now I have 3 carton boxes. Will weigh and see then decide whether I need to set up 4th carton box tomorrow.

Went to B&N again today, only bought a workbook from Family Math series at $17 + tax.

Wonder whether I need to open up carton boxes for customs check at SF airpotr. Wish me good luck. Will bring along a roll of 3M heavy duty cellotape with cutting-edge along, so that I can seal the carton boxes back just in case. Also bought a spindle of thin cotton string to tie the boxes.

My mum and cousin already mailed the Starbucks coffee beans home in my absence. :-( $ :-(

Only have around $80 cash left now. :-( Need to treat my aunt's friends to dinner cos we need their van to transport the carton boxes to airport.

See if my son wants to visit SF Zoo tomorrow in which case we go by bus. Most likely he will prefer cartoons in the morning (Bernstein Bears, ScoobyDoo, Dora the Explorer etc).

Hi, I think we all here in this topics are big spender, just at different timing only.

I bought a set called Mighty Mind which gets parents' choice award, the shape set you introduced, Now I know My ABC and a deluxe set of dough with lots of tools. Total $506 <-- so exact to allow me to be a VIP.

I almost wanted to call you but did not coz I prefer to be VIP myself in order to min trouble to others.

Don't worry about mid-august sale. If you are a VIP, you will get notified la.

I did not buy any Innovative Kids items there. MyDear has slightly better price.

Have a happy flight back ah!!! Poor you have so much luggage and carton boxes to carry along. Materials cost should be shared out la .

Tonight, my good friend treated me a French 9-course dinner at Crest Bon (Tsing Yi). SO........YUMMY!!!!

I chatted with Ms Sq today about your G.Txlxs. She told me that her source offer a much higer price than US$39.99 (which is US school price). This item is unfortunately not easily available. So, it would take some time to source a reasonably priced source. If in vain, need to see how can get it for you la. Need to ask first.

Btw, when will you arrive at HK? HK Tuesday time. Take some rest before going to MyDear la.. When shall we have sashimi lunch??? Find me when you are back.

OH.... I don't want to buy a lot. I have known SS for some times but so far did not spend much at it. More at ToysClub actually. Did you become a VIP when the benchmark was still 1500? Does SS just change policy for this special period OR permanently?
