I&IMOM: eggegg joined in Feb., also the middle of the course. Besides her, her class has one to 2 who joined in Jan and last week.
So far eggegg is OK: watching Video, then do the workbook, using all Camb. University Press materials. As this class is for K3-P.1, the level is rather simple and easy (Fun Fort says it stress listening and oral, and teacher' comments seem to focus on participation other than writing, reading and grammar). Textbooks do not have many words la.
eggegg seems to be able to catch up so far, perhaps the level is easy la. I plan to ask for direct promotion to Playway 3 after finishing Playway 2. It is a waste of time to go over the first half of Playway 2, what we missed from Oct 2003-Jan 04.
If you want a new class, I guess you have to wait till summer, the soonest, or Sept. One level has around 30-35 hours, 1 hour/week, and so it takes a whole school year to complete. My purpose is to make sure there is a foreigner to keep eggegg's oral, and so I put her there even in the middle of the course. I guess Fun FOrt is referring to you the Wed (perhaps the Fri one) course, as this class is not full and one more join in this month after eggegg.
Also I have found recent trend does not stress too much on grammar at age 6. I '8' that both Starter and AQA do not ask for grammar, perhaps exact the very simple one.
