so do i, i also chat with my girl in english, my maid can only speaks in english, how can i ask her not speak in english? i think it is the judgement of the parents, most of the hongkonger would use this mode to let their child familiar with english, i cant see any problem on it.
你問得好呀，我當初回香港工作，我成日一句說話加好多英文，同父母溝通，不能全英，又要加噃廣東話，所以成日比我上司話我，話唔好以為自己咁樣好叻，其實係不能完善地表達自己，在商業社會係大忌，因此我花時間努力要全部講廣東話，即使好簡單的，例如想講，no excuse , 我都會轉廣東話。兩三年後就習慣全中。因此我好唔想個仔又中又英，一定要懂得邊樣係first language 邊樣係second language , 我要佢用母語完全能夠表達及明白。其實係外國都係咁，唔贊成bilingual 的。
