賓賓將會放假, 我是否應該要求她親手寫放假信? 信的內容可否要求 "假若該日期前未能回港, 即當工人自動終止合約, 不能追討一個月代通知金" ?

另外, 我最怕萬一工人走佬, 冇人照顧小朋友, 雖然她寫了以上的一封信, 但入境處/勞工處話需要再寄掛號信/打電話去聯絡工人, 問佢返唔返, 這樣做我是可能會2-3個月冇工人用?

你覺得要求工人在放假前寫低離職信有用嗎? 我覺得就算要求佢地寫, 入境/勞工處都話要有証明有通知過工人, 一係要我單方面終止合約 (可能會被工人追討一個月代通知金).....

Am I demanding?

Hi Mrs Rose,

I'm pregnant and going to have a bb next March. I'm planning to have a bun bun to be arrived Jan 08 with the following requirements:
1. a Christian (I think most of the bun bun are)
2. tertiary educated (preferred nursery background)
3. good English (I hope the accent is not so serious)
4. worked in Singapore before (I think taking care Sing. family is demanding as they are normally very clearn and tidy. Besides, the Singaporean are very discipline)
5. Previous experience in taking care new born baby.

Any opinion can be offered when I'm looking for agency with these requirements? Many thanks for your help. If you prefer to response in Chinese, you are welcome. My problem is I'm not a speedy Chinese typist. So sorry!!

BODY CHK

Hi Mrs Rose,

My maid will come to HK in mid oct knew she need to do the chk up in Philippine under the standard procedure. May i know will i get any result from them ? Will that be reliable to trust ? If there is no supporting do i still need to take my maid for another body chk after she arrive ? ( I had arranged a body chk for her b4 i hire her ) .

我個agent 好離譜, 工人來前兩天先話佢未比尾數來唔到, 一日拖一日拖足了10 日,工人仲未到手, 而家我話唔等要佢refund 佢連電話都唔覆我, 我可向那裡投訴同埋如何要求佢地賠償, 佢浪費了我的假期同埋2個kids 無人照顧,現在各散東西. 請幫忙及回應. 可否pm 我呢.

我姑奶懷疑印印偷竊, 依家佈局裝佢, 如果人工斷正, 咁由斷正至法庭判決 :
1) 工人會唔會stay係拘留中心/收押所, 佢可唔可以自行保釋, 如果可以, 咁僱主要唔要提供食宿 ?
2) 期間係咪當停薪停職
3) 如法庭判無罪, 係咪要繼續僱用至合約完成
4) 如法庭判有罪, 未完成既合約可否cancel, 需唔需要比一個月通知, 佢返家鄉張飛機票幾時比

Hello Hello, I am going to terminate my existing maid's contract as I found she is not suitable for me such as not careful for my kids (main main reason), not initiative, ....

By the way, we already find someone to replace her just need waiting for the working visa. My husband wants to give her one month notice to save money. I just want to know what I should prepare for her to sign such as a one month notice letter. (how to write) anything else?

Please let me know asap with many many thanks.

我睇你既信箱睇得多,真估不到今次都倫到我有問題請教!昨天我解僱了我的工人,朝早同佢講叫佢執好晒野同佢返AGENT,響AGENT面前講好賠一個通知金,年假,機票一張,及今個月人工等等,待出機票期間,借去廁所為名一走了.........(因我買即日機票要佢走,佢要留香港14日搵新僱主)吾要passport, 吾要$$$, 吾要行李.......agent話已經有公會教佢做野!!!十五日內會收到勞工處封信,到最後我地都要去勞工處見面架喇.

1) 佢去勞工處會告我咩野呢?(她受到不公平對待?刻扣人工? 吾比佢機票? .....)
2) 通常呢d case要攪幾耐? 要上去勞工處幾多次?
3) 通常勞工處是否都會幫傭工?

我剛請的賓賓第一天上工時, 從她的驗身報告中發現她申報年齡53(報細7歲), Interview 時的資料show46歲(The agent didn't mentioned that her ID shows 53 until I asked them few days ago), 她說因以前(1984)去沙地阿拉伯做Midwife 要報大 [is that true? ], 她沒有doc 可證明她是46歲

Agent 是否有心隱瞞?What can I do?

我怕她身體差, 照顧不到我& bb將在今年Nov出生?-(

要求她親手寫信內容: "假若該日期後未能回港, 即當工人自動終止合約" 但不用寫: "不能追討一個月代通知金" 因到時係要由勞工處決定,寫左唔代表唔駛俾,所以無需多此一舉。

寫低離職信當然有用,起碼俾工人知道佢要準時返HK,因你唔會等佢。唔需要再寄掛號信/打電話去聯絡工人, 問佢返唔返架喇, 你定唔等,就可出信俾入境處cut佢工作證,之後就可再請新工人。你唔好攪錯呢封唔係免代通金信,呢封信主要係等你死心唔駛一廂情願,痴痴地等以為佢回來!

Ans:{Philippines maids deployment to Singapore had been declining. Even if you can find one, its likely that she will be quite old of age already.}

Hi Mrs. Rose,

This is my first time to employ a maid, so I have some questions about her holiday.

My maid is working with me about 1 year. I have vacation leave on the end of October. So, I have spare time to look after my baby and will release my maid (one week) back to Philippine for her casual holiday (including the weekly day and stat. holiday). I have bought the air-ticket for her also.

1) I want to know that I need to inform immigration department and consulate about her holiday?
2) Does she need to take any examination in Philippine before return H.K.?
3) What matter I must do, so that our holiday is smooth?

Questions about my 1st maid

Dear Mrs Rose

I have employed a Indo maid (my 1st time) who will be arrived in early-Nov and would like to have your kind advice on below issues:

1. Shall we bring the maid to open a bank account for salary deposit?

2. Do we need to provide her personal care products like shampoo, toothpaste, soap, sanitary pads etc. or she should buy on her own money?

3. Shall we request maid to separate her laundries with ours?

4. I found there are rules & regulations to maid available from agency, shall we provide the rules to our maid when she arrived the first day?

5. What kind of important message that we should talk to the maid on her first day?

I am quite worry on training a maid as I have no experience. Also, my baby will be delivered in end-Dec so I hope she can be a self-disciplined maid.

You can requested your agent/maid to let you see the original medical report and or have a copy of it. If your agent already guarantee to you after the maid arrived HK if have medical problem they will take responsibility, the of course can trust. If there is no supporting to you of course you need to arrange a medical up after she arrived HK.

有無得Fully refund係事乎你同Agent之間所簽署既協議,所以我答你唔倒可否refund。但你可向消費者委員會投訴或向各大週刊投訢,睇下可否還你公道。

你試下平心靜氣同Agent傾下,睇下工人夠景可以幾時到,我相信Agent都好想工人盡快到既。問佢一路拖住你要你等都唔得架,問佢想點處理。

Refund都有可能既,至於賠償就應該無可能,其實工人唔黎Agent都好慘,做左咁多野Phil無錢收,香港又refund,重要賠償俾你就真你人間慘劇! 只可以講命運弄人(Employer & Agent)。

ANS:{Its possible that she declare her age to be older because some countries required older minimum age. Especially when it happened so long ago, she can change all her personal documents age easily.
In the beginning, you agent should had been more thorough about this particular maid when accepting her application for Hong Kong.

If you ask me, for me 46 years old is already consider too old already.}
