If you go to private hospital, bb尿片 is provided by the hospital. However, as far as I know, if you go to public hospital, you need to bring bb尿片... am I right?

My list is for both "private hospital" and "public hospital"... as I am planning if I have early birth (i.e. give birth at less than 36 weeks), I will go to public hospital. If I can give birth after 36 weeks, I will go to private hospital. So, I packed the bag as if I will need it before 36 weeks.

jollydophin is correct, it is 乾洗頭髮個d浴帽. Heehee.. I don't know the right name to describe that hat. Since some Chinese people do not recommend to wash hair before "12 days", however, if we stay in hospital for 6d5n and if our hairs are getting dirty, it is not good since we need to breatfeed our babies. So, bringing 1 乾洗頭髮個d浴帽 just in case if we want to wash hair at hospital. If we do not need it during the hospital stay, we can use it later at home.

Yeap, for bb出院時用來包住個身同腳仔. Since I heard that sometimes baby will throw out while you are preparing it to leave the hospital or on the way back to home, so, bringing 2 is more safe, just in case if baby makes the first one dirty. Agree?

I bought the 沖洗瓶 from my last stay in Baptist last year... so, I will keep it in the bag, as I want to be prepared for going to either private hospital or public hospital (not sure whether I will give birth before 36 week...). Same for 密碼鎖, I have it at home, no need to buy extra, and it is needed for public hospital.

梳打餅 --- RIGHT!!! ... I forgot to include snack in my list, will add it back. Thanks.

Doctor seldom knows about the hospital item list. You'd better call the hospital and ask directly. Also, you can ask the difference of joining package and not joining the package.

我阿媽話生完之後一定要用煲過既水灘凍黎沖涼，就算唔用薑水都得，但係係醫院你話邊有咁多煲過既水吖，你地有乜suggestion可以提議到比我呀?? 呢個問題真係令我好煩惱呀!!

今日下晝去產檢呀，又可以見到阿b喇，好開心呀!!

如果用煲過既水沖涼, 咁咪要用盆仔沖涼 ? 咁咪好煩 ..... 不過我覺得現在我地用即時熱既熱水黎沖涼, 咁咪即是煲過既水沖涼 lor, 我諗無問題啦

Mustela is good in maternity goods and baby goods... my friend highly recommend the sketch marks cream for me and I'm using it... so far it's okay For baby bathing gels... I think it's good too... but it's abit expensive :-P

I've got the ad from Seiyu when I opened the postbox yesterday... and see that only the McMug "hot water bottle" I think it's worth to buy... but I'm thinking of the traditional brand 'buffalo' or 'tiger' is more worth than 'McMug'???

Anyway, please be careful when u go to Seiyu on 27-29 coz from my experience, there must be many many people crowd in there all the time during those 'discounted price' days!!!

P.S. I'm so happy that my mom-in-law has brought some new clothes/ accessories to my baby... coz I can save much money in it... :-P he he...

my relative has delivered a baby girl last week and she is using that method to clean her body... so far she said she can 頂得順 la...

but I think even if it's quite 立痴痴 after 'cleaning'... I must go on for this coz I believe in chinese customs that don't get the 'wind' to go into your body duirng the month of sitting on the moon!

我阿媽話一定要用煲過既水呀，佢話用熱水爐個d熱水叫做生水喎，沖咗驚入風，你知啦，老人家梗係多d古老野，但係我都知佢為我好既，但係幾日沖唔到涼，真係人都癲呀。其實開頭我諗住叫老公攞水去比我沖架，但係要咁多，都唔知點攞好，所以如果別無他法，我諗都係要甪AJ個方法只係抹下身，但係諗起都慘呀。

I saw a BK mother bought that liquid at $78. The pharmacy (Drug Store) at Ma On Shan is reasonable and they charge me $65 only. But I know the price difference offered by different "drug stores" can be very different... this is the practice of "drug stores" mar...

I remember one of the April mums-to-be said she wash the 新買的床圍 by washing machine, but remember to choose a more mild process for it, e.g. less spinning speed for drying, lower tempurature, etc.

I also plan to wash the 床圍 starting next week. Then, the bedding set... then, the towels and clothes... then, the bottles...

Mustela is good for BB bathing. I am considering using either Mustela or Seba Med. Both are gentle and mild for BB's skin, less skin allergy for BB. All, any comments?

My mum also suggested to use "boiled water" instead of "hot tape water". She even prepared a bottle of wine saying that is good for bathing as well.

In hospital, I will mainly 抹身, but it really depends, if the after-birth blood is serious, may consider taking a quick shower "secretly" without letting my mum knows...

I also suspected the brand name of the McMug hot water bottle as some of these bottles with cartoon characters, they are actually manufactured by a more famous brand, but they just print the cartoon character on it... so, need to check the actual brand name before buying. Agree that famous brand is more reliable than "misc" brand.

Hahahaha.. I read the ad, and there is nothing that attracts me... maybe I am not a "natural-born woman shopper"...
