You can find work even if you are pregnant. In fact you don't need to tell your employer that you are pregnant until you are 25 weeks. But of course if you want to be on good terms with your potential employer it is better to tell them so that they won't feel you are lying to them. Also you are only entitled to maternity pay (90% of your pay for 6 weeks and 108.85 per week for another 33 weeks)if you have been working for the employer for at least 26 weeks when you are 25 weeks pregnant. But you are entitled to maternity leave regardless of how long you have worked for the employer. You can take up to one year off. You are also entitled to maternity allowance 108.85 per week for 39 weeks) if you have been employed for at least 26 of the 66 weeks before your baby is due.
