Well, tonight my son was angry with me coz of my late return. Whenever I returned home later than 9pm, he would be like that!! He was playing with the piano when I entered the flat. Didn't have a chance to read a bit tonight.

(He seems to love piano. Will nurture his interest after 3 yrs old. I love to play piano a lot but I regret that I learnt it too late(missing the best time of learning!).)

我又係好大個學左一排, but as you said, missed the best time of learning. 返工好busy, not much time to practise, finally give up. But I prepared to learn playing piano again when she starts to learn.

I know a BK mum who started to learn to play the piano again last year, after dropping it for many yrs. She had reached Gr 2/3 before. The reason she started learning again was that when her daughter is of age to learn, mum could support her during practice.

So it is no excuse for you 2.

It is never too late. Actually kids usually don't really understand the whys and hows while adults are better in this respect.

Re : Temp stand-in maid during bun-bun/yan-yan's home leave

You know my maid wants to take home leave for 1m in May and I have a headache over that.

Last night I discussed briefly with my maid, she said she knows of a bun-bun with HKID card and do not require DH working visa, perhaps married to HKese, who works PT for a neighbour upstairs, who might be able to stand-in for 1m, not sleeping in house but at least somebody to complete house work during the day and look after kid.

I asked my maid to look out for this bun-bun and ask if she is interested in doing a 1m stand-in during my maid's home leave, and what $$ she expects. If she is OK then it would be a blessing for us. (My maid says she should be OK as she has been working PT upstairs for so long woh.)

Will see and let you know.

I'm glad to let you know that my maid came back last Sunday after her 3 weeks holiday. I hope that our schedule will be back on the usual track soon.

BTW, there is a book (English bks for children) exhibition at JuscX in Tai Po. There are quite lots of Ladybird (hardback) classic storybooks, Read-it-yourself, Disney series selling at $19.9 (org. $39.9).
