I think every bb's eyes do not open at the same time. I remember I saw a baby girl, born on the same day as my baby boy. Her eyes could open so wide on the day 1 or 2 but my bb opened his eyes only on day 5.
I don't know any method to help open his eyes more quickly but I think you don't have to worry. Just wait for a few days and your bb's eyes will both open.
