anybody's baby is reading "your baby can read"?

Hello, it's long time I didn't visit the web. I would like to buy the DVD set with word card of "Your baby can read". Anybody is using this and did your baby learn from it? I knew if we buy from US is much more cheaper than in HK (HK$3800 per set). It's really expensive for such kind of reading materials.

Please give me some of your idea. Many thanks

Hi! Yes, I bought one set of DVD from US, but the set did not include the word cards. (I paid US $66 for the set.) I did not follow the viewing schedule as suggested. And I did not test my son whether he knows the words. I just play the DVD for him 1 - 2 times per week. I hope he can learn something. But I don't think it is worth HK$ 3800.

Hihi, I brought the "Your baby can read" DVD, word cards & word games cards - full set~~ at Sydney Baby expo few weeks age.... for AUD230.00 = HKD1513.80.

Jayden has started watch "Your baby can read" few weeks now.. every morning for two times a day... he love it so much...

I read a book "how to teach your baby read?" written by Glenn Doman (my spelling might be wrong). It teaches me to prepare the teaching kit by parents and I just follow their instruction. It's very economics.

I think so and it's not worth at HK$3800. If it's less than HK$1000, it would be more attractive.

Dear Polly Baby,

Yes, I have read this book and also prepared some word card for my baby. However, I cannot play with him everyday as he sometimes sleeps when I come back after work.

So I want to buy the DVD and play for him in early morning by grandmom. And I could review it with him during weekend.

That's ideal planning.

Thank you, Jayden mom. It's a bit expensive and I think I will buy it from US, less than HK$1000 including the transportation fee. Anyway, thanks so much for your opinion.

I bought the VCD set online from a Singapore bookstore. Cost about HK$400 including shipping. It doesn't include any cards or games. But I have read the Glenn Dorman books too and made flash cards myself. Its very cheap to print on paper yourself.
