Last year 我係在PWH催生. 早一天入院,檢查個子宮 and fetus. 第二天催生.上 產房, nurse asked me if I like 醫生 do "串"羊水. I said yes. Then 有醫生幫我"串"羊水.之後再幫我吊催生藥,便等生. ...
5:00pm 上 產房(coz a lot of emergency case in the morning on my 催生 day). Nurse gave me intravenous infusion to get ready for 催生藥. Around 6:00pm, 醫生幫我穿水, 穿水 is not painful at all. I just feel some fluid coming out slowly. Then I just lie on bed, waiting.
Nurse use a pump to give me 催生藥 by intravenous infusion. Small dose at beginning. They asked me if I like Epidural. Coz my mom doesn't like me use epidural so I said "no need". Then nurse/midwife monitor my fetus heart beat and cervical opening. Then they add dose of 催生藥 and speed of infusion. Then I feel more strong contraction. Uterus contraction is really painful. 好痛呀. I don't know when they stop the 催生藥 coz I didn't care. Almost 11:00pm, my baby was born.
My personal experience, ask for Epidural if you can not endure the pain.
