Single bedroom in a two bedroom apartment available immediately. The brand new estate has a health club with two pools, gym, fitness classes, sauna, bbq area and party rooms for hire for a small fee. Security is excellent with three points requiring an access card for entry. The concierge and security guys are really helpful and friendly.
The apartment has one bathroom, with a bath tub. The combined lounge / dining room has a balcony and extending from the kitchen is another smaller one for hanging washing. The fridge, microwave, washing machine, small oven, airconditioners, sofa and coffee table are all brand new. The single room has a very large window with a view of a hill, the mtr station and some buildings.
Starbucks, Watsons, 7-Eleven and Yata supermarket (western products) are directly downstairs in V-City. Taste supermarket (even more western products) and the fruit & vege market are only minutes walk from the building.
Transport options are excellent. The Tuen Mun mtr station is directly downstairs, as is the bus station and light rail - just five mins walk away. Tuen Mun ferry is only 15 minutes light rail trip away. If you work in HK city centre, don't worry, it's an easy trip direct to work each day.
The monthly rent is $13,000. The split is 7,500 for the main room and for the single room 5,500. The security deposit is two months rent split evenly, 13,000 each, reimbursed at the end of the lease.
You probably want to know a bit about me too. I moved here from China mainland about six months ago. I work regular school hours during the week and live a pretty laid back and quietish lifestyle, but I do play the viola, mostly when flatmates aren't at home. I have a cat with longish hair but the cleaner keeps the place tidy and I'll provide the sticky rolls to keep your clothes free of fur :) I have some dear friends from the mainland who visit and stay on the sofa now and again.
