要買個chest freezer(好似超市賣frozen fish/frozen goods嗰d)就得，不過我諗香港冇咩人會有地方放個chest freezer...

要儲冰奶, 我全盛時期屋企個冰格除雪櫃門外，真係要咩都清哂架！你有冇其他家人屋企既雪櫃有位呀？分開放都好架！如果屋企個雪櫃壞左／停電都有backup嘛！

我個妹住我個屋苑,我都運了部份放响佢雪柜,但要定期換d舊奶返來,放翻新奶,可以keep住用最早嗰d奶先!

有呀, Fortress web site 有呀, but around $3,xxx, I have the same problem with you, thinking about those box used for BBQ with blue liquid ice nei...don't know if it works

"those box used for BBQ with blue liquid ice" -- that doesn't work, i tried. luckily, the box is not expensive.

now i just use the box to transport iced milk to my relative's home.

you all have so much milk! how long can they be kept? 1 or 2 or 3 months?

Yes ah, if you put icecream in those boxes it will melt within several hours.

I now keep some of the stock in my mom's house. Lucky for me, she just lives across the street from me.

唔好放棄呀! 可唔可以問隔離鄰社幫手? 我之前屋企突然停電，我都去左問樓下既鄰居幫手冰住d奶一陣. 係有少少embarrassed, 不過做左阿媽之後，幾embarrased都唔怕lu, 最緊要阿仔好．

如你有咁多存貨, 咁梗係堅持啦, 我上次去左幾日, 但唔夠存貨, 呀女係每日食幾餐奶粉,一餐奶粉開的糊仔, 再加冰奶, 然後返來pick up 返全人奶. 但你要去trip都要定時pump,返來才可以keep 住.

我想問, 如果出 TRIP PUMP 左出來的奶, 係咪要倒左佢. 我覺得好似好浪費咁. 我份工都要成日出 TRIP, 一個月約有一兩星期. 所以現積極儲冰奶, 只係擔心回來後, 奶量會跌, 要慢慢 PICK-UP 返. :cry:

Don't waste it !! I have just back from business trip. What you need to prepare are:
(1) an ice box, if your trip is 1-2 weeks, better get a big one but make sure it can be as a hand carry baggage.
(2) Gel pad--> keep the milk frozen for short period of time
(3) Sterilising tablet (Milton, available in supermarket or Mannings/Watsons)
(4) A big plastic container or two big zip-lock bags to sterilise the pumps after use

I will ask the hotel to freeze my milk evertime I pump it out. You may also ask the hotel to buy dry ice for you. It works much better than jel pad.
When you check out, put all the milk inside the ice box together with the forzen jel pad.
Another tips, bring more plastic milk bags to store your milk, easier to store than bottles.

And depends on where you go, you may need to prepare more if things are not easily get there.

KEEP THE MILK !!

Hi, BearBearChris,
Thanks for your reply. But I'm not sure whether I can take the milk back to HK, is there any problem when passing the custom. I usually have business trip to cities in China, usually Shanghai, Tianjin, Beijing and etc.

btw, 真係好開心有人叫我堅持，因為屋企所有人，６２９９老公，老公所有親戚都叫我轉奶粉，９９又成日話ＢＢ飲奶粉飲得好開心......(因為佢餵嘛 )其實ＢＢ只係飲過１，２次奶粉，又 ...
