deposit is up to you, if he is really want to buy your car, he will pay for you
ask the buyer make a cheque(in bank)the amount of your car, and go with you to the nearest transportation center, (of course drive your car and park there as well), then, he give you the cheque before you change to his name...then give him your car key
remember, the buyer need to pay for the $1000 charge
