BB香港出世, MaMa係Non Resident
已幫BB取得Canadian citizenship.
如果想帶BB返加拿大讀書(由小學開始),
Mama是否需要返去做返Resident先得呢?
點樣可以做返Resident呢?

once you came back to canada for good, (with your citizenship card), then you are resident.

For formality, you may just to the same thing as you first land canada. prepare your packing list, good to follow, and pass the customs and request to have the stamp on your packing list and goods to follow list, so no tax will be charged when your shipment arrived. (if you have any).

if not, nothing need to be done, but only when you file your tax return, marked it down when you come back to Canada will be fine. revenue canada will then have the record and put you back to the resident.

Dear DorisC,

You may click on below link for details. It's self-explanatory. It took only 6 months to process my daughter's application (even it stated that the processing time is 6-9 months.) Very efficient now. hehehe
