[2006年] Twins delivered on Jan 30, in the Year of Pig! [複製鏈接]

Twins (2 boys) delivered at 34 weeks 3 days on 30 Jan. 2008!

2:39am - after hearing a 'pop' sound in my tummy (RHS), started to leak 'water' and felt the pain

3:03am - 2nd pain, woke up c6 and see what's going on

3:22am - 3rd pain, prepared to go to hospital

3:40am - taxi arrived home

3:50am - arrived hospital PMH

3:55am - arrived Delivery Room on 1/F, did the registration, checking and waited for the delivery team, doctor, etc. Uterus neck opened 80% already but couldn't start to push.

4:45am - started to push Twin I on the LHS of tummy

5:00am - Twin I was born, 2.22kg / 4.88 lbs, full score (10/10) baby! No sign afterwards for Twin II to come out so injection to accelerate the delivery / contraction.

5:17am - Twin II was born, 1.97kg / 4.3 lbs

11:00am - Left the Delivery Room and went to the Ward
(because of my increased blood pressure immediately after delivery, and headache)

Discharged with Twin I on 31 Jan 2008
5:30pm, Twin II needed to stay in the Intensive Care Unit until his digestive system is well-developed. Now he is unable to digest milk.

Charge: HK$150

In general the whole process was extremely smooth though Twin II is not yet ready to come out and twins were delivered at least 2-3 weeks earlier (EDD: 10 March 2008, and originally expected to have delivery after Lunar New Year).

Thanks all. Twin I went home with me on Jan 31 (Day 2) while Twin II now is still in the hospital (ICU). But the situation is becomming better - he can now digest milk and starts to drink 15ml milk today. But turned yellow and needed to have 'light treatment'. Still need to wait until his body weight is good enough. Unlikely to come home before Lunar New Year la.

So now I'm only taking care of my first boy (1.5 yrs old) and Twin I with one maid. Already want to die, very tired and busy. Can't imagine when Twin II comes home - DIE HARD.....My 2nd maid will come on Feb 11, hope she can help.

I will go back to the workplace again in early/mid-May. Hope by that time 3 boys can all 'settle down' and be good.

Congratulations! I always believe it's a blessing to have twins. Can't imagine how busy it will be for you, with 3 little ones at home. You must train your maids really well before you go back to work.

Thanks, Emen and everyone. The 2nd maid originally should come on 1 Feb but now becomes 11 Feb - Coz of some miscommunication with the agency, leading to the delay of work visa (Change of employer) approved by the Immigration Dept.

Today the only 1 maid is on leave. C6 and I took care of Mannis (1st boy) and Twin I alone - we even didn't have time to have lunch! I'm trying hard to have breastfeeding (+ milk powder) - exhausted.....
