Before Euro comes into the market, Italy is cheaper than Paris. I witness it in year 2001 when I went to Europe, and more easy to buy new models (you know, LV sales always say "sold out"). Other than the price, tax refund of Italy is more than Paris. But after start to use Euro, I think the price is similar, but easier to buy new model in Italy (e.g. Florence)
