If she has sick leave granted by doctor but continues to work, in case there is any accident happened during this period, I am afraid the insurance company may refuse to make compensation as she is advised by the doctor to take rest instead of work.
I would just pay her for those 7 days and let her rest and get well soon. 7 day salary is not that much money. Once she recovers, she will do you good and you don't want to worry about all the legal trouble.
