yes...check the contract...and ...
the visa noted in the passport seems to show the employer's name, right?(forgot)
I think u should ask the ex-employer that his/her reason of firing her...if finish contract, u'd better asked the ex-employer his/her comments on such maid...work performed, working attitude, working performance, health conditions, etc...different one have different standards...see if really fits yours.
