i will recommend the "bumble bee" series and "preschool power" series

the bumble bee have abc, 123, and many vocab builder that's only around $50 each

the preschool power has a very good theme--i can do it on my own and u can do it once u've been shown, i can do it, u can do it too

all the cast there are little kids show u how to put on yr own jacket, brush yr teeth, blow yr nose, make bread, make magic....very good vedio, also about $50 each

and the richard scarey abc and 123 is also good, they are cartoons and with lovely songs, don't know how much, my friend lend them to me

try the kid's book store if u're interested, cheers

I would recommend the Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD.

It has a story line and then teach kids all the alphabets & their sound too using easy-to-remember songs. My son follows the DVD and he has been singing the songs and learned the sound of each alphabets as well. It's good! You can read the review from amazon.com.

Yes, when my boy is small, he love to watch bumble bee, now he like preschool power, very good !
Also some like dora, barney.. all can teach something to bigger kids..

I see. Do they sell the Leap Frog DVD at ToysRUs too or just leap frog's toys? Actually, that leap Frog DVD is the only 教材碟 that I got for my son. I am a lazy mom... ain't too keen on buying all the 教材 stuffs for my 2-yr-old. He does learn some new things from his daycare though (counting numbers, read Chinese characters etc).

舊年行左成日買滿一個"喼"

, 乜都有 d 果陣阿囡細都係見到乜買乜, 今年應該會搵 d 美勞書同教材, 阿囡近期好喜歡畫畫. 同埋去睇下 d 童書內容, 啱就記底佢再係網上搵下有無得賣, hk買書真係太貴, 同一本書係大陸網見到可能平成一半有多.
舊年買過 Oxford story tree 真係唔錯, 阿囡都睇緊 level 1, 每個故事幾頁+幾句句子. 一共有7個 level 每 pack 有幾本書+workbook+cd.
