if i leave hk for two weeks, i will arrange her to take the annual leave at the same time. the air-ticket to manila can be less than $1000 if you buy it earlier.
if i just go for a few days, i will ask her to do some major clean up at home and then let her enjoy some free time.
if you don't tell her when you will be back, that means there is no trust between you two and the relationship cannot last long.
Oh, my agent didn't charge me any money but my friend's agent will charge $35/day, seems that each agency is different. If this maid was from referral, did u through any agencies before for old maids? How about you ask them for this.
Last month I went to trip for 7 days only but I gave her $200 for pocket money even my agent provided her meal (because she work for me quite well).
