Oh, I see...
My baby was very windy and we tried Infocal on him first then he passed lots of wind but still unsettled with crying and tummy pains and we thought he was lactose intolerance. The doctor then prescribed Colief for him but on a much lighter dose than what is suggested on the package (only 1 drop for 3 times a day) and he changed to a thicker formula milk as well.
My experience is that Colief 'seems' to work initially (for the first couple of days) but no difference afterwards and I stopped using it gradually. But I think when we have a colicy baby, we keep trying different things, time passes and colic disappears gradually when the baby's digestive system matures (when they are 3-4 months old)...
If you want to try, try it for one week and if it doesn't show any improvements, go back to normal feed ~ according to some NHS advice I heard over here.
