I have just moved to the Bay Area for 4 months and I'm currently living in Palo Alto. I'm on a trying-to-conceive status....

I have checked Palo Alto Medication Foundation and Stanford hospital, and I found that they have many OB/Gyn doctors and it is hard to determine who is good .

Therefore, I would like to see if anyone here can give me some recommendation on a good OB/Gym doctor. Thank you very much for help :>

My GYN is in Redwood City (Sequoia Hospital). She is pretty nice. Do you consider OB/GYN outside of Palo Alto?

U need to pick an hospital which is your preferrence first.
(most of my friends pick El Camino.)

Kathyrn Matthews in Palo Alto/Stanford.
Connie Tan and Ken Liu in Mountain View/El Camino.

K. Matthews is more relaxed and easy.
C. Tan talks very fast (faster than an average American) and always in a rush but experienced.
K. Liu is from Taiwan and also speak Mandarin and experienced (i'd never seen him though).
both Tan and Liu's office are always crowded, esp. Liu's.
they're all recommended by the RNs who work there.

by the way, i think they all take PPO only.
if u have HMO, one of my friend's baby was delivered by Dr. Jenny Hua at Camino Medical group (used to be in sunnyvale but i think now they might have moved to Mtn. View). my friend likes her. she's from Brown U. however, since it's a group practice, there might be a chance that she might not be the one who's gonna deliver your baby.
Camino medical group is aslo affiliated with El Camino hospital.

Thank you very much for your detailed information.

I think I will need to see 2 to 3 OB/GYN doctors to determine which one is more compatible with me.
