Don't buy the rainbow because they are selling with at least double price in Hong Kong.
I bought a latest Rainbow E2 vacuum with the price HKD19980 few days ago. But after I bought it, I found that the price in local USA is just around USD800-USD1200 ! also, I was quote a price on net from a distributor, the answer is they quote me USD650 plus USD81 DHL charges to Hong Kong with everything same pakage !
I was very disappointed about this Hong Kong distributor to mark up a 4 times price to selling to our Hong Kong people and get the feeling of cheating by them !

If not the Rainbow Vaccum Cleaner, any good recommendation? I urgently need to buy a new vaccum cleaner but hate those with paper/ cloth bags.

I need one with high power, less bulky and reasonable price.

我都買左呀,我買果時係17000左右啦,宜家好似係貴左tim,我有個細既拍打器囉,佢可以清潔床既塵瞞,我覺得幾好用呀,但係就好少用囉,我都想賣左佢tim呀

Rainbow Vaccum

I am planning to buy one but I also found the same price difference in the States. My concern is that the voltage requirement will be different in HK and U.S. I am worried that the machine I order from the States cannot be used in HK. Any idea?

美國係用 110v, 香港用 230v, 可能要加隻火牛先用到. 另外, HK 代理另一個 selling point 係有 8年保養, 如果o係美國訂返黎就唔知有冇咁長保養期.

I see. My sister in the States also told me the same thing. She advised me not to buy from the States. She said that it will be quite troublesome to use it with a transformer.

Also, maintenance is an issue.

I think I have no choice but to buy in HK.....Expensive!

I've been using the Rainbow vacuum for about 2 years now and I am very happy w/ it. I don't suggest to buy from US (although it's cheaper there) cos' 1. is the voltage issue. 2. if you have any problem/question about the usage, you give the distributor a call and they would come to teach you/your maid. (although everytime they come, they would ask you for a list of names of your friends who maybe the potential buyers)... every time I change my maid, I asked the distributor to come do a demo.

Aqua (唔記好記得係咪咁串), 我用緊, 都唔平, $19,200, 可做分期 (800 x 24). 有香 "分" & 消滅濟送, 好似真是 cleaner than normal vacum cleaner machine

不過好似幾 noise, rainbow 會唔會呀?

when I first starting using the Rainbow, I did see a huge difference. My Pursian area rugs are much more 'fresh and colourful' then before. And now, since I use it everyday, I don't feel much, I guess I am used to it. And we use the Rainbow to vacuum everything, from the floor/carpet, to mattresses, curtains, children toys/stuff toys, desk, etc and I am very happy w/ it.

BTW, I am not a Rainbow distributor... but I am just very happy w/ it.

仲要係甘push我即刻買，大佬2皮野架，睇果30mins既demo就要買，會吾會兒戲D呀....至憎係佢講到我吾買就係吾愛我屋企人，吾為佢地健康著想:(

only 1/2 hr? I heard that some sales demo took as long as 4 hrs!! you can ask them to do all the cleaning in your home, haha!

but for me... since I was living in Shanghai at that time, I didn't even see a demo and bought one.
